"Sorry, I'm going to freshen up a bit." Y/N hurries away to the nearest bathroom leaving me and Ibuki behind.
"Ibuki, would you like to look at shops with us?" I wanted to get to know Ibuki a bit more,We're both Y/N's friends. She didn't respond to me as if she's ignoring me.
"Chiaki."
She pauses trying to pick what next to say, "Last night Y/N was out with you. If it wasn't for you maybe her apartment would've been safe." She smiles lightly,"I don't mean no harm but don't you think Y/N might've regret hanging out with you?"
Taking in what she just had said was like a knife to the heart. I've never really built a friendship with anyone, But with Y/N is much more. I never knew what it meant to love someone with all your heart. Y/N is a girl I want to love and cherish, I'm new to loving someone other than my grandparents. "I never intend to hurt Y/N." I try to make an argument for Ibuki to understand me, She has too.
"Chiaki, You said it yourself. You are a person who doesn't make friends." That's what I thought before, But Yukizome and everyone was so nice and kind to give me time.
"I can help with that." Ibuk smiles as she leans over the table knocking over my ice cream.
"Opps, I was meant to fix your hair." She grabs a couple of napkins trying to help.
"But I was also going to say that it's best to stay away from Y/N a bit. She might be hurt because you. Give her time."
I nodded "It's okay I'll clean up, You and Y/N can go...I'll get my grandparents to pick me up." I walked away feeling very hurt but at the same time grateful. Ibuki has given me the help I needed. I can take the rest of the weekend and collect my thoughts.
"Oh I'm sorry." bumped into Y/N along the way. I look down not wanting to meet eyes with her as I blush. "I spilled my ice cream on myself, You and Ibuki can go, I have someone to pick me up." I walked away while my heart ran after her.
