Millie Bobby Brown and Alex Downey set to star in new Netflix film: Enola Holmes
The beloved English girl who stole our hearts when she appeared as Eleven in Stranger Things was just announced to star in new Netflix film, Enola Holmes. Brown will star alongside longtime Marvel actress and fellow Stranger Things actress Alex Downey. The film follows Sherlock Holmes' ( Henry Cavill) younger sisters; Enola (Millie Bobby Brown) and Amelia(Alex Downey) and their new allie Tewksbury( Louis Partridge). Downey was seen yesterday at the airport which we can assume means filming for the movie will start soon. The film is set in England and is based off of the hit Enola Holmes book series. We can't wait to see our favorite best friends on screen in action again!
Downey took to instagram yesterday to post a picture of her sister Maya Downey and Downey with the caption "spent my last day in the states with my favorite big sister :) I love you Maya! I'll see you in 3 months!" the comment section was filled with friends and fans talking about their theories of why the siblings were seperating. Amist the ideas, Downey's new co-stars Cavill and Partridge both posted a comment about how excited they were to work with the young actress.
Fans who have read the book series the film is based off of are ecstatic to see how Downey and Partridge portray the budding romance between Amelia and Tewksbury. Let us know in the comments what your predictions are for the film!
