Monday rolls around faster than I can count. It's currently 6:30 and wake up to go get Rose ready for school. Rose and I stayed up until 11 because she was showing me her "Perfect outfit for school". This kid knows that first impression are important.
I let Dodger outside in the backyard to use the bathroom before setting his food down to eat. After some time I let Dodger inside to eat. While Dodger is eating I walk to Rose room to wake her up.
"Rose sweetie it's time to get up. It's the first day of school." I say walking to her bed and rubbing her shoulder.
She sits up and rub sleep out of her eyes. I smile at her cuteness.
"Ughhh why so early daddd" she says flopping back down on the bed.
"Oh so you don't want to go to school?" I asked in a jokingly matter but a bit serious.
"No! No! No! I do I do I do I do!" She yells jumping out of bed and running to her closet to get her clothes. I just laugh at her silly antics before walking out of her room to the kitchen to get her some breakfast.
Rose runs in the room with a beautiful red polkadot dress with red and yellow sandals to go with it. She also has her Minnie Mouse necklace and earrings on. She has her Dora backpack on her back with her school supplies in there. I smile almost tearing up at her. My little girl is truly growing up.

*Just imagine the heels are sandals* "Daddy why are you crying?" She ask looking up confusingly at me.
"Nothing baby. You're growing up too fast" I say shaking my head handing her breakfast.
"I'm still your little girl daddy" she says smiling. My heart warms and I just kiss the top of her head whispering I know.
We continue to eat breakfast before I take some pictures of her and sending it to my family group chat. I grab her hand and her lunch box before walking out the door.
