I could feel them spiralling, spinning in my mind. A picture of a little toddler witht the same piercing blue eyes. A flash of him older, and staring up at the stars, with a blond girl lying beside him, smiles lighting up their joyous faces.  Memories, I thought. They're his memories. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a boy staring at me in the alley between two buildings. His head was cocked to the side, mouth pulled down in a frown and eyes searching as if he were studying me.

Out of the way! Clear out!" A police officer pushed past me, snapping me out of my trance. " Mister, Mister, are you ok? Can you hear me?" The boy looked at me, his eyes wide with fear.

" Her!" He yelled pointing at me. " It was her! " Make it stop, make it stop!"  The officer looked me with an eybrow raised.

I backed away. " I just bent over and tried to help him and then he started sreaming! I swear thats all I did." I cried. But I knew it wasn't.  I had somehow caused him to be like this. And why had I been seeing his memories the moment I touched him? I stared at my hands in shock.  What had I just done? I need get out of here. I told myself. Yes thats a good idea, go home.  I looked over my shoulder. The boy was still there. Watching me, like he knew exactly what was going on. I strided over to him, trying to look confident when inside I had no idea what to expect.

" Why were you observing me like that?" I asked, boldly. " What do you want from me?" The boy threw his head back and laughed.

" Me? Oh, just to know exactly what you are." He said, his green eyes glinting in the sunlight.

" Excuse me?!" I yelled. " I'm a human being and what type of quesion was that?!!!!!"

" The type that you obviously answered wrong." He pushed pushed back his hair, daring me to retaliate to what he just said.

" YOU ARE MAKING NO SENSE!" I shouted.

" Ma'am? Are you ok? Who are you talking to?" An officer shook my shoulder gently. I brushed her hand off and glanced at her impatiently.

" I'm talking to this senseless boy here and I'm fine." I pointed imperiously at the boy who smirked. WHY WAS HE LAUGHING AT ME!! The police officer looked at me confused. I could see she was trying to see the boy. " Here's right in front of me!'

" I don't see what you're talking about, I'm sorry but there's no one there."

What??? I looked at him. Yes, he was right where he had always been standing. He leaned toward me and smiled humouresly. " Yeah, she can't see me y'know."  Another smirk. I fumed inside. Turning to the officer, I smiled sweetly and apologized, saying that it must have been a mistake and it was just a result of shock.  I swiveled my body back around and he was gone. Just like that. As if he had never been there. But I know what I saw and what I heard. I'm not normal. I'm scared.
