CHAPTER 7: detention

THIRD PERSON

"You're doomed, Loe. Doomed. Doomed I tell you." Lila whispered.

Mr. Han excused himself, to answer a sudden phone call. Chloe peaked outside, as she saw Mr. Han was busy on his phone. Maybe they can talk a little, he seems focused.

"What are you talking about, Li?" She whispered back while re-writting at the yellow pad paper her answer. Oh my goose, Li. Don't scare me like that!

"You see, it's really rare that Mr. Han gives his students a detention. Before, he's punishing his students right infront of our own naked eyes. Don't think that Mr. Han is like a demonic teacher hm?" She explained, looking at the door. Mr. Han might showed up and they could ended up in detention together.

"What did he do?"

"Uhm, I remembered one time he embarassed this girl infront of the class. I must say... it was the girl's fault. Flirting with Mr. Han while he was not in a mood. Well, Mr. Han is always not in a mood tho. So yeah, the rest were history."

Bitch that was scary!

Chloe focused on her pad paper when she noticed Mr. Han came back. He looked at his wrist watch and sighed. "Times up."

Half of them groaned while the rest smiled, means it's time to go home. They all passed the papers and one by one, they went out.

It's only five of them inside, including Felix, Lila, Yohan and Chloe. She was about to approach Yohan, when he quickly went out. No word were escaped on his mouth.

"We'll go ahead, Loe."

"Oh, okay. Tell boss that I'll be late."

They all left and the two of them were still inside. Chloe went back to her seat when Mr. Han talked before going out. "Follow me."

She nodded then she took her bag and closed the classroom. Mr. Han was fast to walk, that's why she needed to sprint a little to catch him up.

Each teacher at The Multiverse High has their own room for detentions. It was smaller than an actual classroom, but it could fit atleast seven to ten people there including the teacher. So, it wouldn't be a hassle for giving detentions.

He opened the door to the room and signal her to sat at the front. She just went inside and sat there. "I'm just getting something from the office." He said and left.

After almost five minutes, he came back with tons of test papers. He placed it to the table to check those. Mr. Han noticed that Chloe's getting sleepy so he cleared his throat to catch her attention. She fix her seat and apologized.

He sighed, handing her a one piece of bond paper. There were two questions for the essays and one reaction paper about the movie 3 Idiots.

It's her problem if she doesn't watched that movie. Fortunately, she already watched it. Chloe likes watching inspirational movies. 3 Idiots and Every Child Is Special were her favorite the most. Don't ask why.

The detention took two hours and she didn't noticed the time, same as Mr. Han. The timer rang, means two hours is already over. Chloe passed the pad papers to him.

"You may leave." He answered shortly.

"Thank you, Mr. Han." She bow and left the detention room.
