Naruto was given the chance to graduate the same year that Neji Lee and tenten did. but he stalled to be teamed up with someone from his age group.

{time skip 1 year}

The Graduates of the class he was supposed to be in were finally graduated and they were awaiting teams. Naruto entered the class. and Iruka smiled "hey Naruto welcome back!" Kiba had to speak. "Oh look the Dead-last is back," Naruto Smirked and released enough KI to make a kage scared. then a moment later it was gone. "Kiba want to run that by me again?" Naruto asked in a sickly sweet tone. Kiba was freaked out. and Akamaru barked (alpha) Kiba heard it and said "n-n-n-n-no way Akamaru he's just the dead-last" he regretted the moment he said that. the KI returned except not to anyone but him. he looked around to see no one else affected he asked "how come you guys aren't affected?" Naruto answered his question "I have the ability to focus my KI onto one or more people, so that means I can focus on the whole class or just you." he said it in a tone that sounded sagely. Iruka asked Naruto "could you please find a seat?" Naruto grinned foxily "sure sensei!" his mood changed on a dime. he sat next to Satsuki who blushed. which made Sakura and Ino mad because "he" was their naruto Asked just loud enough for Satsuki to hear. "you're a girl right?" she instantly knew this guy was a keeper. she kept the same tone and asked "can you keep it a secret." naruto grinned foxily and said in the same tone "sure, Satsuki-chan" Satsuki was taken aback by the name. then she also smiled and held hands with Naruto which went unnoticed by the rest of the class except Iruka. who gave the two a wink. to which the two holding hands blushed a slight red Sakura had, had enough. she shrieked and said  "Naruto-Baka leave Sasuke-Kun alone he deserves someone better" the KI from earlier was shot towards sakura alone. she squeaked when she felt it. he released it and asked "do you think that Sasuke likes you?" he said it so bluntly that the fangirls as a whole decided to rethink who they love. sakura on the other hand was so totally dumb that she didn't take the words to heart. she replied with "oh yeah and what would you know about love. not that you've ever felt it?!" she sneered and naruto became a wreck. "you just *sob* had to say that huh? you had to reopen wounds that have been long closed?" then the room went deadly calm as naruto became as cold as dry ice. he asked "have you ever been beaten, have you ever had your body violated? have you ever been neglected? oh here's one. did you ever have to eat out of a trash can because you could not find food? thought not." then civilian side all erupted into roars as they said stuff like "that is what a demon like you deserve." they were chanting it. soon sakura joined in then everyone but "Sasuke", Hinata, Shikamaru, Choji, Shino, and Ino had joined in. Iruka noticed naruto was bleeding from his hands. Iruka roared "as your teacher all of you who said anything against my favorite student will be held back a year." the only six who did not say anything were "Sasuke," Hinata and Shikamaru, Choji, Shino, and Ino. the class besides them were all ready to explode in rage. and that is exactly what they did. "you cannot do that it's illegal! I will tell my parent about this!" everyone who was yelling was suddenly washed in KI so strong that the girls fainted and the boys had trouble breathing. naruto spoke in an eerily calm voice "you will listen to your teacher or I will have my friend come out and speak to you all." his eyes changed from blue to dark red with an H in the eye. he had unlocked the first version of the Hunter eyes. Orochimaru was watching from the window. and naruto noticed. "hey Iruka-Sensei, can I please be excused for a moment, and can I take Sasuke with me" Iruka nodded to both requests. knowing what was going to transpire if Naruto stayed "Alright just make sure to be here by lunch, okay?" Sakura was about to speak up when Ino Wrapped her fingers around her neck "don't say another word forehead" Sakura was scared her own friend was choking her. she nodded viciously the class watched as Sasuke and Naruto left through the window. Naruto walked over to where he sensed Orochimaru's Chakra. then he turned to the left and stabbed the ground. Orochimaru was impressed. "that was very good Naruto-Kun. it is good to see that you still have the knack for everything that you do. I have a request. would you like to train under me as my apprentice?"
