"Bu kim, anne?" The little girl kept asking her mom as she ran away from the building as fast as she could being in a 5 inch heels and carrying a child in her arms. Eda wasn't expecting her baby girl to come out looking for her in the middle of the press interview nor for him to see her yet. But he did. She glanced at him and saw his confused face, but before he could find the words to ask her about it she ended the event, grabbed the child and walked away. She felt him on her trace, trying to catch up to her maybe for a talk to finish their weird conversation at the press room. But she wasn't willing to talk now, she couldn't. She focused on her steps and on the confused little girl in her arms, stroking her hair, as she got inside the car and told her driver to make the route back home.
☆He heard a childish voice and looked back to find a tiny creature standing just a few steps away from him. It was a beautiful little girl, and she was calling Eda. She was calling her anne. Anne. He attentively looked at the girl, her hair on the same dark color as Eda's, the facial features also denouncing she was her mother's child. She had the big expressive eyes Eda had, and a little dimple on her cheek. He didn't have time to think about anything or formulate a question because Eda took the child and left quicker than a lightning bolt. It was almost as if she was running away from him. He went after her, to try catching her up even if just to simply look at her for one last time, but she was way ahead of him. For someone running in heels with a relatively big child in her arms, she was going too fast. She walked down the red carpet, not looking back once, and somehow Serkan felt Eda slipping off his fingers. Again. He looks down and his eyes stops on a shiny object, a shoe. It was a silver shoe that belonged to the little girl that was carried away. He took the shoe on his hands and analyzed, but truly his mind was empty. He had so many questions but at the same time it's like his thoughts froze and he was trying to process that moment. All of that moment. He gets out of his trance with his pocket buzzing, his phone was ringing and he's seen by the ID it was Engin asking him if the press conference was over. He had to contact Eda to give back the shoe, he thought with his mind already mocking him, because he knew damn well that was just an excuse to see her again. She was back to Istanbul. She looked so different, but still so... her. His fairy. His Eda. She was as gorgeous as ever. He got into his car and put the shoe on the passenger seat, taking a last look at it before driving away. Suddenly it hit him: Eda had a child. Eda had a child and it wasn't his. Serkan's heart sank.

Eda got home with her sleepy princess resting her head on her shoulder, and immediately took her to her bedroom. The bedroom was still half empty since Eda had just moved to the apartment, but it was cozy and her baby had absolutely adored it. As she lays the little girl in her bed, she realizes one shoe is missing. When she held her daughter, she had the pair of shoes on, therefore the shoe must have slipped away somewhere between the press room to the parking lot. And she missed it because she was too desperate to not come face to face with him, especially having their child with her. It wasn't time yet, she wasn't ready. That was too bad, it was Alara's favorite pair of shoes. She sighed. She'd have to explain to the little girl, who was too attached to her favorite things, that anne would have to buy another pair of shoes for her. She finishes taking her beautiful blue dress and hair ornaments off, dress a sleepy Alara into her adorable pijama set and covers her with blankets. It doesn't take long until the child is deep asleep and Eda finally gets out to relax. It's been a stressful night, from problems with her own gown, to inconvenient reporters and then... him. Seeing him for the first time in two years, standing so close to him that she could feel the warmth emanating off his body, embracing her like a hug. A well needed hug. She wrapped her own arms around herself, trying to recreate that comfortable warmth she felt. Only he could do that to her. She sighes and decides to shake off these thoughts, she was too tired to reminisce and get upset again about things that were beyond her control. "Not today", she thought. Tonight she'd have a break from crying herself to sleep or martyring herself for potential wrong decisions or for what she could've done differently for their love. She was aware it wasn't only her fight and that she'd done her very best to hold on to that relationship as much as she could, but sometimes just love isn't enough. But that didn't stop her from wondering. Creating scenarios in her head where things could've gone differently, daydreaming about what would happen if Serkan found out about his daughter right in the beginning, so many different outcomes... and none of those she always dreamed or imagined came true. Her fairytale didn't have a happy ending, but it had a fruit. A beautiful fruit, an eternal reminder of how great their love was and how much they loved each other. Alara. Her precious Alara.
