It was the next morning and I woke up in my clothes that I put on for my date. I was still really sad. I mean I probably scared him because I just ran away from the situation like a little kid. Maybe that wasn't his boyfriend. Maybe I just overreacted. Oh man now I feel sorry.
I decided to call Joe because I felt very bad. At first he didn't pick up but then he finally did. "Hello? Whos there?" Joe asked. His voice sounded weird like he had been crying. I didn't know what to say. "Uh hi, it's me..." I said sounding very insecure. "Oh hi, uhh you know that person that you saw..uhh that was my brother." Joe explained. "Im so sorry." We said at the same time. We laughed and talked. "Do you want to go to the restaurant today?" He asked.
We met at 7 and it was dark out but the lights of the city were as bright as always. We went into the restaurant. We talked, laughed and overall just had a very good time. I paid and we left. As we went out the door he pulled me aside. "Do you know how beautiful you are?" He said quietly. I probably blushed. He Pulled me closer and he kissed me. It felt like magic. In this moment I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. The lights were so beautiful and so was Joe. It started raining and I put my hand in Joes and we started walking nowhere. This is one of those moments that ill never, ever forget. In that moment I was the happiest I've ever been.
Life can truly be magic.
