"So listen carefully" Basant instructed to which Mallika nodded.

"It has been a week since u came here, and I know u are sensing Sumedh has changed, but he hasn't. He yet loves u the same way he did or maybe more than that. The problem is that when u came to London u guys did a test and in that test, the report was that Sumedh had cancer. He shattered into pain. And so he decided to leave u so that u can move on from him and live a happy life ahead and won't need to suffer with him" Basant completed.

"Can u prove it" Mallika asked.

Basant immediately took out his phone from his pocket and kept the reports in front.

Mallika picked up his phone and zoomed in on the photos. Unknowing to her tears made their way down her cheeks. "Where is he now," Mallika asked 

"At my house," Basant said, giving her the address. 

He didn't wish to worsen their privacy so he decided to stay back. Mallika asked him to come but he refused. She got up and left in her car.

She was driving at the speed of light, tears continuously flowing. She reached her destination in 15 mins. Making her way to the room, she knocked on the door. Sumedh thought that Basant was back and so he opened the door. 

Unknown to him, he was pulled in a bone-crushing hug by Mallika. He hugged her back pulling her inside. They separated after a couple of minutes. He started in her eyes which were already red due to constant crying. Unable to resist he took her lips in his and started sucking, she responded to him with the same passion as this was the thing they both craved for. They broke apart due to a lack of oxygen.

"Why didn't u tell me" Mallika cried. 

"Mikku Princess, u are too sensitive to digest it," Sumedh said cupping her cheek. 

"I just hate u," Mallika said looking at the other side

"Oh really," He asked pulling her in his lap.

"No," She said unable to withstand his intense gaze.

"Sumedh what about your treatment," Mallika asked worriedly. 

"We started it the very next day I left u" 

"What did the doctor say" 

"It's curable and won't harm much," He said and she sighed in relief. 

"You would have told me" She huffed

"Sorry na baba" 

"You had promise u will never leave me" She reminded.

"Solly," He said in a baby voice to which she melted.
