The Greatest Showgirl

Chapter 3

Poppy opened up a chair and sat down next to Branch.

"Ok! Opening up!" She shouted.

"Who did you invite?" Branch asked.

"No one." Poppy said. "People who see the sign will come in on their own."

Branch nodded and leaned into a whisper. 

"When will this be done?" He asked.

"Huh? Whenever trolls stop coming." Poppy said.

"I have, something I want to give, or tell? You." He said.

"Oh! Here comes the first entry!" Poppy said. 

"Sure. It can wait." Branch blushed.

A loud voice sounded.

Suddenly, a large troll walked in. She had a huge dress and a giant mouth. Her hair was neon yellow and had a headband.

"This is Queen Soprano of the Opera trolls?" Poppy asked.

"Wait, what?" Branch asked.

"There's more music than just the main 6! Opera trolls are one of them." Poppy explained.

"Yes. That is me." She said.

"Nice. Next one please." Poppy said.

A sound that sounded like a tape rewinding and a troll with sunglasses and a boom box jumped out. 

"Hi! Your...  King Beat?" Poppy asked.

"Yo got dat right girl." He said.

"Nice." Poppy smiled and he walked over to make room for a beat and an electronic pulse, and a troll with no arms or legs snaked into the room and had a crown pixelated on her head, with ears sticking up, and wrapped around her crown.

"Whoa!" Poppy said. "You must be Queen Pixel of the Electro Trolls!"

"Yep!" She said. 

"Electro Trolls? Don't you mean Techno?" Branch asked.

"No, Techno trolls are different than Electro Trolls. Sadly, very few know the difference, and to be honest I'm not sure I do either." Queen Pixel said.

"Great! Let's go to the next group of trolls." Poppy said, and no one else came.

"Huh?" She asked looking around. 

"I guess that's all the trolls who wanted to attend." Branch said.

"Great!" Poppy got up and the clock sounded.

"I say it's time for another song!" Poppy said.

"You stumble through your days

Got your head hung low
Your skies are a shade of grey!" Poppy sung and the trolls looked at each other.

"Like a zombie in a maze
You're asleep inside
But you can shake awake!" Poppy shook her entire body and Branch jumped in.

"'Cause you're just a dead man walking
Think of that your only option!" Poppy smiled and they sang together to the new leaders

"But you can flip the switch and brighten up your darkest day,
Sun is up and the color's blinding!
Take the world and redefine it!
Leave behind your narrow mind
You'll never be the same,"

All the trolls in TrollsTopia started singing.

"Come alive, come alive
Go and ride your light
Let it burn so bright
Reach it up
To the sky

You're electrified!"

"And the world becomes a fantasy

And you know, you can't go back again
To the world that you were living in

Poppy ran over to the big mushroom and showed the TrollsTopians the new trolls, and they all gasped.

"I see it in your eyes
You believe that lie
That you need to hide your face!" Queen Soprano put her hands over herself.

Afraid to step outside
So you lock the door
But don't you stay that way

Queen Pixel opened her mouth and started to sing
"No more living in those shadows
You and me, we know how that goes."

Queen Soprano sang along.

'Cause once you see it, oh you'll never, never be the same
 

The queen's duetted 

"We'll be the light that's shining
Bottle up and keep on trying!"

All the trolls smiled and sung with them.

"You can prove there's more to you

You cannot be afraid!

Come alive, come alive
Go and ride your light
Let it burn so bright

To the sky

The TrollsTopians got in a circle and waved their hands.
 

"Come one!
Come all!
Come in!
Come on!"

"To anyone who's bursting with a dream!" Poppy sung.

"Come one!
Come all!
You hear!
The call!"
"To anyone who's searching for a way, to break!" Branch and Poppy sang.

"And the world becomes a fantasy
And you're more than you could ever be
'Cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open
And we know, we can't be go back again
To the world that we were living in
'Cause we're dreaming with our eyes wide open!

Poppy dropped to the ground and posed and all the trolls clapped.
