It was yet another sleepless night for you.  No matter which direction you tossed or turned,  you just couldn't sleep. In one final attempt to at least make you feel the tiniest bit sleepy, you did the one thing that you find the most peaceful,  watching the stars.

Your fascination with space and astrology started at a very young age. As a matter of fact,  it started so long ago that you couldn't even remember a time when you didn't stay up long past your bedtime just to see how bright the stars got.

You swung your legs over en the side of your bed and stood up. You quickly checked under your bed just to make sure that there were no monsters under there.  Lukly for you, there weren't any on that night.

The moment you stood back up you ran across the wooden floorboards to the window. You looked up at the stars, then over at the map of constellations that your uncle had gotten you for your third birthday, then back out the widow again.  You wanted to find the little dipper so you could see the north star for the first time.

Out of all the stars that you'd have seen, it wouldn't be a big surprise I it was the first star you saw at night. You've scanned over the stars time after time again,  and yet, you couldn't find the little dipper.

After a solid ten minutes, you started to feel tired.  Tired enough that your eyes were starting to want to close.  You walked groggily over to your bed and tucked yourself in. And you eventually drifted asleep.

You sat up in bed as your alarm clock went off. You slammed your hand on the button to turn in off. You take a moment to grab Evean.

You slump out of your bed and walked out your bedroom door and walked down the hallway. As you reached the top of the stairs you could already smell the fresh pancakes bein made in the kitchen.

You scrambled down the stairs and ran across the coner to the kitchen as fast as your tiny legs could cary you you. "Auntie! Pancakes?" You ask as you bounce on the balls of your feet.

She nodded and ruffled your hair. "Why don't you go sit down and when I'm done,  I'll bring them over to you?" She suggested. You nodded and went to sit down on your chair.

After a few minutes your aunt set your plate of pancakes down in front of you. You quickly finished breakfast and headed back upstairs.

You quickly got ready for your day  and ran back downstairs so that you could ask your aunt if you could play at Hitoshi's house. "Hey auntie,  can I go play with Hitoshi at  his house?" You asked her. She nodded andd continued to do whatever she was doing before. After you bolted to get your shoes on.

Once you had finished, you unlocked the front door and went out. You scampered across the lawn as fast as you could.  Eventually, you reach the front door of his house. You rang the doorbell twice and waited for his parents to come and greet you. After a minute,  his mom came out.

"Oh hey (Y/n)! I suppose you want to play with Hitoshi, right? " she asked. You nodded in b confirmation. "Well, why don't you come inside and wait for him to get finished with getting ready?" She moved out of the way so that you could go through the door.  You did as she asked and went inside.

Not long after Hitoshi's mom went down the hall. Probably to tell Hitoshi that you were wanting for him. Not long after he finally finished getting ready. "I'm sorry I took so long. I couldn't find any matching socks." He told you. "Not at all!  I don't mind long waits. You assured him.

The two of you continued to talk about god knows what until you reached the swing set that his family had set up for the two of you just last week. You both raced for the same blue swing and ended up pushing each other to the ground.

"Well, that kinda hurt." You said as you wiped some of the dirt off your knee.  Hitoshi on the other hand just stood up and sat down on the swing.  He didn't even start swinging he was just sitting there like he just destroyed someone's ego.

You then stood up and sat on the swing next to him and waited for him to say something. But he didn't, so instead, you took that liberty. "Do you like fruit?  I like fruit. " you said as you began to swing. Hitoshi looked at you before he replied. "Yeah fruits are pretty cool. But I like steamed broccoli with melted cheese on it to more.

The two of you continued to talk about what kind of food you liked more for a liked more for a long time. You two could talk about anything for what felt like hours on end.

Hey folks! I'm sorry that the ending to this chapter seemed rushed.  That's because it was. But you know what they sometimes say, desperate calls for  desperate mesures or something like that.
Numbers 12 and 11 confuse me for some reason.  I mean,  why isn't it said like "one-teen" and "two-teen"? Why isn't it like that?
Anyways,  on another note,  this summer there will be a week I might not edit this fic or the other one and that's because I'll be at a ☆camp☆ just for one week though. Don't worry. I'm not going to tell the folks on the other fic that because there has to be things exclusive for this fic.
