Don't Go To Bed (Hitoshi Shinsou X Reader)

chapter 5

"Alright,  ready for your first day of school (Y/n)?"  Your uncle asked as he patted your head. You nodded and bounced on your heels.  "I'm gonna do a good job!"  You exclaimed.

Your Aunt walked over and helpe you put on your backpack.  "It's heavy. " You told her. She nodded "I bet it is. You have a lot of school supplies in there." She said. "Well you better be off, you don't wanna be late!"

And just like that you ran out the door.  You ran across the street and to your left a little ways was Hitoshi and some big kids waiting.  You ran up to hitoshi and just before you could tackle him over to scare him,  he turned around. 

"Oh, hey (Y/n). How're you?" He asked in his normal calm voice.  "Darn it. I wanted to scare you. " You said as you stomped your foot on the ground.  Hitoshi laughed a little.  "Better luck next time. You ain't gonna scare me today!"

You huffed at his remark. You and Hitoshi began to talk about something probably hero related before the bus came. "I'm kinda nervous now, (Y/n)." Hitoshi told you. You smiled at the boy. "Don't worry!  I'll be sure to make sure that you don't get hurt!  And as long as I'm here, no one will make fun of you!" You reassured him.

He looked at the first step onto the bus, then at you. "Yeah.  I guess you're right. " he said under his breath.  "Then come on! We don't have all day!" The two of you found an empty seat and sat down.  Hitoshi got the winow seat. 

Before you knew it, you were at school. "Okay,  now I'm feeling nervous too." You told him. "Thanks,  that's reassuring." Hitoshi said in a sarcastic tome as he glared at you. Th bus doors opened and the kids shoved to get in the aisle. You tried to count the kids. 'One, two, three. Wait, what comes after three again?  Oh five. Wait that's as high is I can count.  You know what that was a horrible idea.' You thought to yourself.

Eventually,  an older kid let you and Hitoshi get in fhe aisle.  The two of you tried to keep up with the pace of the big kid in front of you, and in a short time,  the two of you, were on pavement.

What's poppin? Sorry that my update schedule is going to be wack like it was a few months ago.  I thought that yesterday was Saturday and things are weird.  Remember when a few chapters ago I said that there would be a week that I didn't update?   Well,  I've got the news for you. That week is going to be the July 4th through... friday of that week.  I can't count.
I may or may not be updating this one twice in a row to make up for the short chapter last time we'll see....
