Step 4: be honest

Today was the long-awaited day, it should be the most exciting day of his non-life.  She would confront Tony and once and for all tell him her feelings.

Was it risky?  Yes, in short.

Would it be rejected?  Perhaps, although according to his intuition he knew in advance that he had everything to win.

Had he lost his mind and now he was about to commit the greatest folly?  Yes, he lost his mind the moment he ran into the singular boy who not only entered his life unexpectedly but dragged him into an unhinged love frenzy.

Today was the day and nothing would stop Rudolph Sackville-Bagg.

His enthusiasm was noticeable for leagues, he got up early without feeling tired, on the contrary he had more energy than ever.  He let Tony know through a note that he was dating him at midnight at the lake near the castle.

According to the books written by mortals, romantic settings gave more meaning to the moment, and what better setting than being next to a lake in the moonlight, he aimed to ask the most important question of his life that would mark the beginning of a  new stage.

Everything was meticulously calculated, he would start with a somewhat fluid casual talk, he would apply all his previous steps and have a partner.

Just seeing that the night began he shot out into the lush forest, he would have everything ready in record time.

Meanwhile, Tony did not know what to expect from such mysterious behavior on the part of his crush, the last few weeks were confusing for him.  Rudolph was taking care of him more than other days, it was so obvious that the vampire was up to something, he heard it several times from the clan and his brothers.

Rudolph had never acted like this in his life.

For that reason he did not know whether to be happy or worry about the date he would have today with the vampire at the lake.  He tried to calm his nerves by taking a tea prepared by his mother who every second asked for an answer to his concern.  He did not elaborate but it is almost certain that his mother already knew why, but she did not force her answer.

There was only an hour left when he left the castle to meet Rudolph, giving notice to his parents in advance, and that he would most likely be a little late.  He sped off into the forest feeling the gazes of his parents follow him.

He took a deep breath trying not to jump to conclusions.  What was he waiting for when he got to his date?

I walk for 10?  Maybe 15 minutes?  without finding any sign that would indicate that he was on the right path.  It was like this until he saw a small flash of light in the distance between the trees, barely perceptible.
