Aren:

I was tumbling down, my hands grasped around the empty void, trying to get a hold on something but all I could feel was my fingernails digging into my palm. Wind hitting against my face, gasping for breath as I fell faster and faster. I felt hopeless. Pathetic. I couldn't help myself. Nobody could.

"STOP!" I screamed, and shot up. My eyes widened and I glanced frantically around the room. I had the nightmare again. I'd had this nightmare everyday for a week now and I had no clue how to stop it. I wasn't the superstitious type, but I was thinking about researching what it means and how to fix it since waking up at 4am everyday had begun taking it's toll.

I thought maybe it was to do with going to a new school, since it's been something that's really been on my mind recently. I wanted to start anew, a new leaf I suppose. My identity had always been a delinquent and a punk but I know I can do better. There was always something strange about my past  that just felt like it didn't fit right and I wanna find the missing piece to my jigsaw puzzle. Starting over is scary though, you don't exactly know what to expect.  I want to fit in but I know that it isn't as easy as it sounds.

[Saiki:] Darn right.

Hopefully I can make sense of this all, but I gotta get back to sleep so I don't get tired during my first day.

TIME SKIP TO 8.45am

"Alright then class, settle down. Today we have a new transfer student." the teacher glanced over at me and ushered me into the classroom, "Please introduce yourself."

"Hi, I'm Kuboyasu Aren and.." my eyes skimmed over the heads of pupils. All of them were staring right at me, watching everything I did. I started to sweat. Remember, first impressions. I spotted a small student with pastel blue coloured hair. His face was pretty, like really really pretty. I bet he gets a bunch of girls...

"Kuboyasu. Please write your name on the board."

"Oh!" I quickly realised that I had zoned out and the boy had noticed me staring at him and was now hiding his face. "Ah shit," I muttered to myself, quickly scraping my name onto the blackboard.

"Aren Kuboyasu.. woz here?" I heard a student whisper from the back of the classroom. People started to chuckle until the whole class were laughing at me. I began to feel dizzy, the laughter got louder and louder and it felt as though it was buzzing through my body, echoing inside my head. I shook my head, trying to get it to go away. 'Not now, Aren. Calm down', I thought to myself.

"Okay then, Kuboyasu. Please take a seat next to Kaidou Shun. Kaidou, raise your hand."

A small hand from next to the window popped up above the sea of heads. It was wrapped in red bandages and it was shaking like crazy. I quickly paced over to him until I realised that it was the blue-haired boy.

"Oh, uh.. hi."

"Yeah... I'm Kaidou Shun."

"Nice to meet you, Kaidou."

"Nice to meet you too."

We sat uncomfortably for the first lessons but I couldn't help but to glance at his face once in a while. Close up, he was even more beautiful.

Fuck.

I'm not gay. I'm just acknowledging that his face is a bit more... good-looking than most. It's not that I like him. No! Of course not! I just met him. Love at first sight doesn't exist you stupid twat. You don't even know him. Just stop.

"Ahem, so.. do you know the dark reunion?" Kaidou stuttered,

"Huh? The Dark Reunion?"

"Mm! Yeah! It's an evil organisation that will one day conquer earth and put all humans in a sorting programme. However, I, the Jet Black wings will save this planet with the power of black beat that thrives in my arm. That's why I wear the bandages, to keep it from destroying the world, I need to use this power for getting rid of the dark reunion!"

"Oh! Uh, cool!" I mumbled,

"Yeah, it is! Would you like to help me fight the dark reunion after school today?"

"YES! Oh, uh, I mean.. Yeah, that sounds cool.."

"Great!"

He went on for a bit about the dark reunion, he was pretty cute. I could listen to him forever.
