(Prolong)

Well, how should I put this... My name is Ryan Hope, I'm in grade eight high school, and live a normal, high school boy's life. I don't really have time for anything major...except for some reason, my little sister, Mia Hope, does. She's basically the polar opposite of what I am. Good grades, amazing looks, always the star of her grade seven, which unfortunately is in the same school I go to, that girl is, as some might say, the 'bomb' of our family. To be honest, it's really annoying.

And due to this, didn't really have many interactions at all. I mean, what would a dull, uninteresting boy like me have anything to do with a stunning, outgoing girl like her at all? Even our parents, despite their attempts to make us interact more, thought so, as found out by the conversation they had together behind out backs.

It's not like we hate each other or anything, I mean, we do sometimes talk. If she wanted to borrow anything of mine, I'd let her. But that's about it. Nothing much else happens between us...

Until one day, something I did caused my entire life to be turned upside down...can't say I regret it, since it did get me to meet a bunch of new people and caused my little sister and I to become friends...but personally, I would've rather one of the persons responsible for this not to have suffered the horrible pain she was destined to experience.

(Main Story) CHAPTER 1: God...I hate Mondays...

"Ryaaaaaan! Ryaaaaaaan!! Wake up, idiot."

"Mmmm...Shut up, Mia..."

"UGH...Why are you so damn lazy all the time?!"

"Come on, don't tell me you're not lazy sometimes to...can't you see that its Monday? What high school student wouldn't be lazy on a Monday?"

"Hmph, I wouldn't. Maybe you're just too much of a dull boy to see how awesome it is to wake up early. I mean, don't you have friends who text-"

"Snorrrrrreeeee..."

Growling at me, the pain-in-the-ass little sister of mine, exclaimed, "That's it, I'm telling mom!" Then stormed over to our parents' room...'Finally, thought she'd never leave...'

Once again, the worst time of the week, has arrived to haunt me...Monday. 'Who in their right mind would even be excited about getting up on a day like today...? You've gotta be crazy if you are..!' Alas, such things are only normal for that Mia...

Well, there's no point in just lying down all morning. Getting up from my fluffy white bed, I strutted over to the kitchen to grab some water...

...Only to bump straight into Mia, with a ceramic cup, filled with cold liquid.

"Oof!" She collapsed onto the ground, and I accidentally splashed its entire contents onto my sister.

Shivering, she shouted, "Ooooh! You're such an idiot Ryan! How the hell can somebody be so careless in the first place?!"

Putting it down onto a countertop, I argued back, "It's not my fault! If you weren't walking there in the first place, none of this even would've happened!"

"Oh so it's my fault is it?! Grrrr....." She darted to her feet, "Go to hell Ryan!"

Directly afterwards, she ran past me, into the launder room of our home.

'Man, what an imbecile...why did God make ME of all people HER older brother?!'

I let out a sigh with the words, "No point in complaining about it I guess..."
