Soon To Be Couple

You and dabi met up at the mall at 12.

You guys walked around until you found a decent little food market.

You ordered Sushi and Dabi ordered cold soba.

"You two look like a great couple!" The cashier randomly said.

Dabi stared at him.

"Oh nonono we are- we just met- we are friends?" You gave Dabi a questioning look and he smirked.

"We are a soon to be couple," He said with a cocky smile on his face in a bit of a joking tone.

Once your food was ready you both went and sat down at a table together.

"So....." You said breaking the silence. You had finished your sushi and Dabi was about to finish his soba.

"What are we exactly?" you asked.

"Anything you wanna be i guess?" He replied looking up at you as he finished his soba.

"Well i think we should get to know each other a little. why dont we take turns at asking questions?"

"sure!" he replied.

"Ok i go first. Where did you grow up?" You asked.

"Musutafu, Whats your favourite color?"

"F/C. How do you see yourself in the future? like near future and distant future?" you asked.

Dabi just smiled at your question.

"I dont think about things like that," He said, "It can bring forth thoughts like worry, and doubt. I take every day and hour as it comes."

You thought for a second.

"Wow..... your nice, cute, ripped, smoking hot, and wise? Holy fuck and they said the perfect person didnt exist...."

He smiled at your little statement.

You looked into his eyes and smiled back. Suddenly you had a look on your face that was different from before, like you had an idea.

"C'mon!" you said standing up holding out a hand for Dabi to take, "Lets go shopping!!"

He took your hand and stood up.

Your fingers intertwining as you walked to the closest clothes store.

As you shopped, tried on clothes, joked around, and just had fun, you both slowly fell for each other even more.

Now you were both choosing outfits for each other that you thought that would look cute on each other.

He pulled out a black hoodie with a blue flame in the middle, and then grabbed some black, slightly faded jeans with bits where it looked like the sewing had been purposely ripped so then it wouldnt rip further. He grabbed a white tank top to go with the outfit.

"Y/N!!" He called.

You came running to him with a bunch of clothes in your arms. You looked at the outfit he had chosen and smiled.

"that outfit actually looks really cool!" you told him.

"thanks i thought it might look nice on you," He said shyly.

"should i go try it on?"

"Yes!!" He said excitedly, "Please,"

You grabbed the clothes and ran to the changing room and put the clothes then came out and showed Dabi. It all fit you perfectly. He looked at the blue flame on your chest and gace you a big smile.

"Why do you look so happy?" you asked,

"you are so beatiful, and that blue flame looks really nice on you," Dabi said, not realising but his quirk activated on his hand and you saw realizing he had chosen this black hoodie with the blue flame, to match his hair and his quirk.

He realized his hand was on fire and deactivated his quirk with a shy smile. You looked at him intensly then looked at your hand and concentrated. Activating your first quirk, you copied his and your right index finger lit on fire. You smiled at how pretty it was.

"wow....." you said, "I never realized how pretty blue flames are...."

Dabi walked up to you and enveloped you in a hug.

"you look amazing," He whispered in your ear, sending a shiver down your spine.

He pulled away and sat down on a seat.

Ypu went to the clothes you were carrying earlier. You hrabbed the white shirt and the grey jeans and handed them to him, a few seconds after handing him some converses.

"try them on," you ordered.

He went to the changing room and put the clothes on like you said.

He walked back out and your face lit up.

"It looks amazing!" You said to him.

You both went to the changing rooms to get changed back into your origonal clothes.

You both walked out of your changing rooms smling carrying the clothes. you both went up to the counter and payed for each others stuff.

"Hey wanna go back to Jess's and stay the night there?" you asked Dabi.

"Yeah sure," He replied smiling.

You both stopped at a few other shops on the way to get some extra things.

Then you both went back to jess's place.
