Selfish

Chapter. 1

*beep* *beep* I groan as my alarm rudely interrupts my dream. I stretch before getting up and turning off my alarm. I rub my eyes and scorch my way out of bed. I grab my phone and check if anyone messaged me when my eyes catch the time.

"Fuuuuck, " I whisper shout. My ass was supposed to be up and ready at 7:45, it's 8:12! I quickly try and put on my clothes. I wore a white long sleeve crop top, with light pink Ad1das sweatpants, socks with light pink slides, and diamond studs. I left my hair in an afro and put in some lipgloss. I do a quick check on the mirror before grabbing my bag and rushing out the door. I run to my bus stop. It's right down the street so I think I can make it. Right before I got to the bus I stop to breathe. I think I'm all good since the bus is right there. I see Khloe look at me and smirk. She turns back to the bus driver and nods, telling him there's nobody left. I silently curse her out as I watch the bus leave me. I sigh and start walking to school. Fuck it, might as well be late. I'd rather be late than have to wake my mom up to tell her I missed the bus.

When I finally get to school everybody is already in class. I roll my eyes annoyed and get a slip from the office before going to my class.

I yawn, exhausted. I'm taking all my stuff out of my locker when I feel somebody staring at me. I turn around only to see Gollum starting at me. I jump frightened but quickly calm down when I see no threat.

"How was the run this morning~" Klohe snickers. I roll my eyes and turn back around.

"It was amazing actually!" I said sarcastically.

"That's good because you needed it to work out anyway," she says in a bitchy tone. I huff but continue to ignore her.

"Ugh, have you seen yourself, it's embarrassing to even be in the same school as you!" I clench my fist in anger.

" I bet your reflection is sad that it has no choice but to be an exact copy of you." I slam my locker shut. But before I could turn around, she was already gone. God, why do you let people like her exist? I think to myself while looking up to the sky.

"Hey~" a slight smile appears on my face.

"Hey, Carmen~," I say turning to my best friend.

"So how was your day, " she asked.

"Shitty." we start walking out of the school.

"Awe, why?

"I had to walk all the way here due to Klohe, them she made fun of me for no fucking reason at all. It didn't hurt me at all but I was just really annoyed, " I say getting heated. She draped her arm around my shoulders.

"Don't let that sparkly shit get you all mad and shit," she says. I smile and look down.

"Sooo, you goin to the party tonight," I turned and looked at her.

"Why you lookin at me like I'm crazy?" She said shrugging her shoulders and shaking her head.

"Because the last time we went to a party, your ass got drunk and broke somebody's table!"

"That was only once, cmoooon!" She shouted.

"I'll go if you promise not to get drunk like last time." She frowns.

"Deal!" We get to her house and hugs me goodbye before going inside. I continue to walk to my house and think about what I'm going to wear.

When I got home I greeted my mom and sister before running upstairs to get ready. I look at my "sexy clothes" and become anxious. I don't want to be stared at and judged so I decided to just wear a hoodie and some sweatpants.
