The twink and then enby: the sequel

Confusion

Alex rushed home in a state of panic, not even bothering to get the food they went there for. They went home with a single thought in their head "did lynx try to assassinate melly?"  Alex feared the life of their spouse. What would happen to them? Will they try again? Is this the end? Was it really a bad decision leaving lynx....if he would end up doing this? Then Alex thought of their children. Pandora and swaggy. They thought about how they must be feeling. But Alex's thoughts were cut off as they pulled up to Melly's house. They rushed in looking panicked. "What's wrong?" Asked Melly. Alex, in a state of shock, burst into tears and told Melly everything they saw in a barely understandable voice. Melly was in shock. Her suspicions were right. It was him. She held Alex tight ant told them that it would be ok. Alex felt much better when it was her telling them that. Alex didn't think they could help Melly, so they decided to get a gun license. Just in case, y'know? Alex told Melly to keep it with them if they ever go somewhere sketchy alone. The time was hectic, not knowing if at any time it could be the end. Alex wanted to clear their mind, so they thought going to bed night help. Just a bit. The two went to bed and slept peacefully. Alex work up the next morning, but Melly wasn't in the bed. They didn't know what to do. Their spouse could be dead. Their spouse could have passed. They might have been held captive. Alex thought they knew where they might be. Alex got dressed and took their gun with them. Alex drove as fast as they could. Praying and hoping for their spouses survival. They're predictions we're right. They were in the building right next to the alley they saw lynx in. Alex burst in with gun in hand ready to pull the trigger. Alex walked into the room with their gun up, pointed at lynx. They threatened to shoot if they wouldn't let Melly go. But then they unfortunately got a good look of their spouse with tears in their eyes and fear in their face as the two towered over her. Alex was holding back tears. Alex didn't hesitate anymore and rapidly fired shots lynx's way. Hitting him in the chest snd head multiple times. After lynx was gone, there was still his boss alphonse. Alex did the same thing holding down the trigger just aiming at his chest. Alphonse was more resistant and even tried shooting at Alex. He successfully hit Alex in the arm. Alex was able to take the two out snd free their,thankfully, unharmed spouse. The two ran down the stairs on the building rushing to their car to get back home, until Melly realized the shot wound on Alex. Melly insisted on going to the ER. She drove them over as fast as possible and they took Alex in for recovery. A couple days later Alex was released back into the world.
