Chapter 2

The next morning I got up at 8:30, I went for a quick shower, I dried my hair and left it natural and then out little make up on as possible. Make up wasn't really my thing I only put the littlest bit on here and there. I put my work clothes on.

I grabbed my gun that was on my night stand and put it on. I also put my badge on and then picked my bag off the bed.

I looked around my apartment making sure I had everything before I left. I made my way down the 3 flights of stairs and down to the main door of the apartment block.

As I left my phone rang.

" Rollins " I answered

" Hey Amanda could you come into work early ? We have a case and I need my two best detectives " liv said

" I have a appointment in 10 minuets but I'll be in straight after as soon as j can, is that alright?" I asked

" Of course, see you later " she said before hanging up.

I put my phone back in my pocket and made my way down the side walk. Mr Grey wanted to see me but didn't give me any clue to why. He just said that us bumping into each other didn't do it for him. What was that supposed to mean ?

Once at Grey enterprises I made my way up to the top floor. I then walked over to the receptionist who was different from our vic and the rest of the staff here. She didn't have blonde hair and she wasn't like the rest at all.

" Hi I'm here to see Mr Grey, I'm detective Rollins " I replied

" take a seat and he will be right with you " she replied

I walked over to the White fancy chairs and sat down as I did my phone went again this time it was a text.

Where r u ? Liv has sent me out without you. You have to meet me at Grey enterprises

" Mr grey will see you now" the women said

I got up off the seat and I followed her to Mr Greys office. We reached the large doors.

" He's just inside, go in when your ready " she said before walking away

I took a deep breath in and opened the large doors. As i entered Mr grey was standing looking out the window. The door closed and he turned around

" Detective Rollins it's lovely to see you again, please sit down " he said

I walked over to the seats that were facing his desk and sat down.

" Why did you want to see me?" I asked

" I just wanted to see you again face to face " he said as he sat down at his desk.

" Oh " I replied " Why ? "

He got off his seat and walked over to the window looking you it again, he shrugged his shoulders. I looked at him for a few minuets trying to figure out why the hell he had me here.

" So Miss Rollins did you find anything out about Miss Lancaster's assault ? " He asked as he turned around to face me

Was that all he wanted me here for ? To talk about something that I couldn't even talk about since we were still investigating it

" I can't talk about an open investigation Mr grey " I said

He nodded his head " so tell me how can you work in such a heinous job ? " He asked as he walked over to the chair next to me and sat down

I looked at the ground before looking at him.

" I want to help people over come what they have been through and get justice for them, something I didn't get " I replied

" What are you talking about something you didn't get " he Asked " Where you.... "

He didn't get to finish his questions because the door opened

" Mr Grey there is a detective here to see you, should I send him in ? " The receptionist asked

" No I'm not finished with this meeting " he replied

" It's okay it will be fin em I mean detective Tutola. I need to go over a few questions with you to do with the case so detective Tutola has to be here " I said

Christian sighed " alright let him in "

Within minutes fin walked In

" Detective rollins you're early " he said

" Yeah and Mr Grey was nice enough to invite me into is office " I said as Christian took a seat

" Well Mr grey we are here to tie a couple of loose ends up " fin said as he took a seat next to me

" Of course anything I am do to help " Christian replied

" Have you seen anyone lurking outside the building maybe a man that looks like this " fin said and then handed the picture to Christian

He examined it for a few minuets " I don't think so " he said but continued to look at the picture " wait I have actually he stands across the road, I didn't think much of it but yes I've seen him. is he the one who attacked Miss Lancaster "

" We think that may be our perp, we have cases similar to Miss Lancaster but we don't know if there is a connections but that's you Mr Grey for your time that will be all for now " fin said enforce standing up.

I stood up after him and then Mr grey did to " anything I can do to help you find this monster " he said

Fin nodded his head began to walk away and I followed

" Detective Rollins " Christian said as I reached the door

I turned around to face him

" Until next time " he said

" How do you know there will be a next time ? " I asked

" Because women can't keep away from me for too long " he replied

" Maybe I'm not like other women " I replied

" Trust me, you'll be back here by next week " he said

" We will see about that " I said before fin and I left

" What was that all about " fin asked as we got to the elevator

" Nothing fin " I said " it was nothing " I replied as I looked back to see Christian staring at me......

Short chapter but people were telling me to update and because exams are coming up for me I've had no time to even write anything so this has took me forever but here you go I hope you all like it
