High School (a PTP fanfic) {STOPPED}

-Chapter 2-

Quick fact: the beginning of this chapter was inspired by 1-5:00am from Animal Crossing!

The two parted and went their separate ways, leaving Eepop by herself, alone with the sound of the wind rattling through the trees, fresh grass and birds chirping. The smell the rain lightly hitting the grass, making it smell fresh. At this moment in time, she was left by herself, with her thoughts and it felt... peaceful. Eepop finally had time to think about herself instead of others. She smiled a bit. Alone. Peaceful.

That peacefulness was suddenly interrupted when she saw her house across the road.

Taking a deep breath, Eepop hesitantly made her way to the house. When she got to her home the brunette took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

Knock ,Knock

 Instantly, the door flung open and she was pulled in by a rather small lady looking up at her with a fierce facial expression. The woman had bright, pink hair and a pink front fringe that covered her eyes to go along with it. She also had little tuffs of hair that looked and from the tiny slither of her eye that Eepop got of her, the lady was not happy.

''Where the hell have you been?'' The smaller female asked, demandingly.

''Ono,I told you I-'' The taller started.

''Save it.'' Ono snapped ''Your mother is in the living room. What are you still doing here? Go talk to her!''

The younger said said no more to the other and walked over to the older woman sitting in the living room, watching the rain of what now looked like static from how fast it was coming down.

Eepop dropped her bag by the shoe rack and walked to stand by her mother she looked out the same window, watching the rain pour down on the other side of it.

''Why are you late?'' Her mother questioned with a cold tone that shocked Eepop with an icy chill down her spine. ''Anything could of happened to you, there's a reason why you come home at a certain time.''

Eepop looked down at her socks, ''I was waiting for my friend to finish his football game (for the Americans, soccer) and I promised I'd walk to the shops with him.'' Of which wasn't whole lie, she was waiting for her friend to finish school, just not from a football game. She new well enough now that if she told her mother about his 'probation' then she would be forced not to be his friend anymore, she didn't want that.

''Him?'' The taller lady turned her head to her daughter, ''who's him?''

''No! I-It's not what you think!'' she looked up at her mother '' we were just walking to the shops that's all!''

The older lady turned her head away from her daughter to watch the rain again. ''Go upstairs'' she sighed, ''tell me next time in advance if you are going to do that again, I don't want anything happening to you..''

''Yes, mum...'' Eepop exited the living room, picking up her bag and taking off her shoes before she went upstairs, ignoring Ono on her way up.

Eepop opened her door and threw herself onto her bed and laid there for a moment she looked out of her window and found that the rain had started to clear a bit and the sight of the rain calming down lightened her a bit. She laid there for a couple more moments, when her phone buzzed.

'HEYY DID YOU MAKE IT HOME OK?'

Eepop didn't need to look at the person who texted her to know who it was.

Local Drug Dealer:

HEYY DID YOU MAKE IT HOME OK?

yeah i made it home just fine, u?

YEAH YEAH EVERYTHINGS FINE

UH I NEED SOME HELP

help? with what?

WELL, REVISING FOR A TEST?

Before Eepop could finish typing she received a screen saying:

Local Drug Dealer is calling...

accept?                                                                                                                                                                 decline?

She tapped accept and the voice of her friend took over her phone. She heard a little ''Sorry!'' followed by her friend shouting.

''BE CARFUL, DON'T BRAKE ANYTHING IM ON A CALL- Oh hey Eepop.'' her blonde friend said, now focusing on the call.

Eepop giggled, ''Hey, and uh who were you talking to?''

''Just my guardian, he's more than a little clumsy'' he shook his head ''don't worry about it, I need to pass this test''

''That's alright, what test are you studying for?'' 

'Uhh, a French test''

''Oh ok! Lets get started then!''

The two revised and revised and, naturally, had laughs in between. The pigtailed boy was a bit behind on his French, because of either teachers wanting to talk to him or him zoning out and not listening. Eepop had encouraged him to try and focus more in the class because who know when you might need the knowledge, and from what she was seeing, he's improving.

Eepop laughed a bit, ''I don't know why you came to me, I mean there's smarter people in our class.''

''Well, you're the one I'm more comfortable with talking to. I've known you the longest.'' He responded

''Wait are you saying you're lonely?'' The girl put more emphasis on the word lonely with saying her sentance.

''Wait, wait, wait I didn't say-''

''The 'prettiest boy in the world' is lonely? Wow, never thought I'd live to see the day!'' She joked.

''Ok, Ok I never said I was lonely '' he said, mimicking her. Eepop laughed a bit. ''I besides I am  the prettiest boy in the world, and to add on that I'm not lonely, I have you.''

Eepop raised an eyebrow with a smirk. ''Hm?'

The other shook his head violently ''No! I didn't mean like that! I-''

Eepop broke her look and started to laugh, ''Don't worry, I know you didn't mean it like that'' She replied, laughing.

Her companion held his head in his hands, slightly red from frustration and embarrassment. He opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by a woman calling for Eepop on her side of the call.

''EEPOP! DINNER'S READY, DON'T LET IT COLD!'' The woman yelled from what seemed like the bottom of the stairs.

''OK! IM COMING! Sorry to cut this short, but I have to go to dinner, see you soon!'' She told her friend.

''That's fine, see ya Eepo-'' she hung up on him and rushed downstairs to get her dinner.
