The entire next day Charlotte couldn't get out of bed, in conclusion she was not able to see the comet, with Caroline, which she promised. Then she tried to call Caroline, texting her every chance she got, but got no answer for hours.
Given that Charlie was only friends with Caroline, she thought she would spend the day alone. However Stefan would constantly ask her to sit with him or talk to her.
Once school had ended, Charlotte was on the school field doing warmups for the cheerleader training - the one she promised Caroline. Suddenly a blue 1969 camaro parked in front of the whole group of girls.
Inside sat a man with black hair, wearing a leather jacket with sunglasses and next to him sat Caroline. Charlie stood up, walking over to her bestfriend, "where the hell have you been!" she shouted over the field.
Caroline just looked at Elena, "I got the other brother, hope you don't mind," before she turned to the Jones who glared at her. "I have been calling you, texting you at least a hundred times and you were with Stefan's brother?" the blonde rolled her eyes and waved her friend off, which made Charlie even more mad.
"Caroline!" The girl kept ignoring her bestfriend. The training started, Charlotte had a glare on her face the entire time. The training was finally over, unexpectedly Elena walked over to Charlotte making her rise her eyebrows in response.
"Uhm, I know we haven't been on the best terms lately, so I wanted to invite you over to dinner with Bonnie and Stefan...if you like, to bond maybe," Charlie was too busy looking for Caroline to fully listen to Elena.
"Sure," she tried to wave her off, the Gilbert smiled, "great, see you later," Charlotte looked confused as Elena left. What did she agree to? "Well, see you at dinner I guess...," Bonnie Bennett muttered as she walked by Charlotte.
She was still confused, but she also wanted to know where the hell Caroline went. First she can't reach the blonde for hours, then she comes with a unkown man and now completely vanished again. On top of all that, Charlie agreed to something she would probably regret later.
Evening came with no sign of Care - once again - and Charlie was on the porch of Elena Gilberts house. The Jones was too annoyed to text her best friend, besides the way Care acted she wasn't sure if she should.
Charlotte dragged herself to Elena's house under immense stomache . She went to knock on the door when Elena already opened the door with smile, "hey," she greeted the girl and let her in.
