Chapter 2

Hey all...
I am back with part 2 ...
Recap-Shiva to drop Raavi to her home.

RAAVI-OKAY

SHIVA-Don't worry yar..I am a very good driver and I will drop you home safely..

(After driving for 15 mins, the car suddenly dropped. Shiva came out to see the problem and saw a wire had burnt. Though he could repair it right there but he knew it would take a lot of time and Raavi's parents must be getting worried.)

SHIVA- Raavi it is gonna take some time I a Sorry.

RAAVI-Its Okay..My home is at 10 mins walking distance..I can manage by the way Thanks and take care.

(She starts going towards home and is called by Shiva)

SHIVA-Raavi it isn't safe to go alone at this time without car. Lets do one thing I'll also walk with you and the I'll come back and repair it only if you don't mind.

RAAVI-Oh..Why would I mind? Let's go.

(They start walking)

RAAVI-Shiva actually I am sorry. I was a little too much when you asked about Aryan. Actually I don't like talking about it now because everyone judges me.

SHIVA-Its Ok Raavi .I didn't mind it at all but yes I am not that person who judges anybody. I am always like that friend with which one can share anything without being judged, be it boy or girl.

RAAVI- That's nice. So can I also share although we are not friends.

SHIVA-See I consider you my friend now. Anybody who I drive for becomes my friend.(He said with a smile)

RAAVI- So it was me did the breakup because of certain things that were against my values in life.

SHIVA- What was the things and when did you realise that it was not going right?

RAAVI-I realized it way back. Aryan never used to take stand for me.

SHIVA- Means like when didn't he  take any stand when it was needed?

RAAVI- There are so many instances. Let me tell you a few of them.Once We had gone to meet Aryan's Mom. She indirectly was just trying to prove that I am the luckiest girl in the world to have her son as my partner. She once told me that I don't need to work after marriage because Aryan is going to  join family business and then I can just chill without having to do anything. Shiva I can't become a housewife. I want to earn and then eat. I told him about this and he didn't say a word to his mom. I used to frequently visit his family but he never came to my house. When I asked him about this he said That he didn't have to come to my house after marriage and that I visit his family because it's my duty??

SHIVA-So basically you want to say that you both didn't share equal position in your relationship. His family used to constantly make you feel inferior to him only because you are a women?

RAAVI- Exactly I think you are the first person after my parents who has understood my point. Otherwise everyone would only scold me for leaving a boy who loved me so much.

SHIVA-But in my point of view love is not the only thing that can keep a relationship going. Respect is equally needed and I completely understand your point and even if someone has a problem with your decision, just remember one thing this is you life and you have rights on it

RAAVI-Thankyou Shiva.

SHIVA-Y our welcome. Accha you want some ice-cream? See that stall.

RAAVI-Yeah sure.

(They went to the stall)

SHIVA-Which flavour?

RAAVI- Chocolate. That's my favourite.

SHIVA- That's my favourite too.

(Both of the were enjoying their ice-creams and Shiva was also constantly staring her. He realised that how different she was. She was a strong woman who doesn't fear this judgemental society and does what she thinks is right. She is exactly the kind of girl he would ever want as a partner. But he didn't want to ask her straight because it could hurt her so he preferred to wait for few days. Other side Raavi was happy that atleast someone understood her. Shiva was a nice boy but she didn't want to get anything forward now. Both of the completed their ice-creams and Shiva dropped Raavi to her house)

RAAVI- Come inside na have something.

SHIVA-No actually Bhai must be waiting next time maybe..

RAAVI-Fine Good night.

SHIVA-Good night

(Both of them spent their pre sleep times thinking about each other and smiling

(Next day both of them went to a garment firm and interviewed the owner, and then Raavi went inside the store to have a look of the whole store. Shiva also went behind her. There was a different comfort between them today,maybe due to last  night's heartfelt conversation. Raavi was talking to a cute little girl when Shiva saw that fan is about to fall on both of them.)

(He came running and pushed the girl to one side and Raavi to other. While saving her he also fell upon her and both were lost in each others eyes now. They came to senses only when the fan fell down. They got up and asked the girl if she was fine. Her mother came and said them Thankyou. Raavi gifted her a chocolate. After she left, Raavi asked Shiva if he was fine and why did he he risk his life for saving her.)

SHIVA- I told you yesterday that I consider you my friend and Shiva Pandya can do anything for his friends.

RAAVI-Yes you are truly my friend (she said smiling)

(They then went to a jewelry firm and finally completed their assignment.)

(They submitted it the next day and the professor recognised their assignment as the best one making both of them extremely happy. Not only for this reason, they were also happy to have found a new friend in each other, a friendship which is pure and has been made by heart.)

(They enjoyed the victory in the canteen with their other friends as they threw a momos party. That was what the could afford in college life...😂)
