LOVE FINDS ITS WAY--SHIVA &RAAVI

CHAPTER 10

Raavi had become solitary, silent and emotionally unavailable. She just went to office and had stopped hanging out. She would stay in her room all the time, just seeing her parents once or twice a day.

She had stopped crying over it now because it used to hurt her parents seeing her like this. Sleepless nights,silent days had become life for her now. She was at a worse position than Shiva because his heart had broke, but for her, guilt was associated with heartbreak.

One similar day in Pandya Niwas, all were having breakfast.

DHARA- Sh..Shiva

SHIVA- Yes Bhabhi. You want something?

DHARA- Actually Kanta Kaki has proposed an alliance for you.

Shiva stopped his hand and dropped the morsel. It was the fourth alliance offer in these four months.

SHIVA- Bhabhi you know my answer (slight fake smile)

DHARA- Please Shiva when will you answer change?

A tear escaped his eyes. He was hurting them more than himself but he didn't have any option. Though he was not with Raavi anymore but he could never forget her.

SHIVA- Never( he said upset)

Dhara didn't talk about it anymore and let him eat. Both Shiva and Gautam got up when Shiva said in shock.

SHIVA- Bhai where are you going?

GAUTAM- What is this question Shiva? Ofcourse Store. Today dealers are coming.

SHIVA- Hello? I have postponed that meeting.

GAUTAM- Arre but why?

SHIVA- What why Bhai? You aren't coming to store today Ofcourse. Today is Bhabhi's due date. You have to be home today.

GAUTAM- But Shiva how will you handle everything alone?

SHIVA- Don't worry. I'll handle everything. This is more important.

GAUTAM-Arre but..

SHIVA- That's it. No more discussions. Byee

He went after hugging them. Even though he was so stressed emotionally and mentally, he never forgot what critical time his Bhai and Bhabhi were going through. He put his pain aside and looked at their happiness. He had learned now to find his happiness in theirs.

But that didn't make him forget his love. He wanted her, desperately, but nothing was in his hands. He was so helpless. His sleepless nights would pass with their pictures he had on his phone and their beautiful memories he had in his heart.

And not to forget, that ring((please read the last chapter))which she gifted him that night would always remind him how much beautiful time they had spent together.

At the evening, Dhara called Shiva.

DHARA-Shiva while coming back, please get my dress from the mall. I had left it there for stitching. Today is the deadline for receiving it. I had just forgotten.

SHIVA- Its Ok Bhabhi. You just send the address.

It was that same mall where he had got stuck in the lift with Raavi when they were in college ((Chapter 1)).

His inner self didn't want him to go there but he had to go. Raavi was a regular customer of that mall. She had also went to that same mall that evening to pick some stuff for her.

At 2nd floor, Shiva pressed the button for opening of elevator. But as the doors of elevator opened, he found Raavi inside it. Both of them were shocked to see each other. He stood there motionless looking at her without realising that the doors were gonna close.

But Raavi was in her senses. She pulled him inside before it could close and he was shocked once again.

SHIVA- What the hell? Why did you do that?

RAAVI- (Hesitant) You...You would have missed it and then you would have to wait.

SHIVA- Oh really?(he came back to senses)

Raavi looked at Shiva carefully. His eyes had lost charm, he had lost so much weight. Shiva also checked her out. Her face didn't glow like earlier and her eyes were sad.

His heart told him that she was also not happy after leaving her. But his mind told him that if that would have been the case, she would have talked to him later on. If not apologize, but would have cleared things up. But she had left, forever.

Raavi's eyes suddenly fell upon that ring. Her heart pained seeing it. He fulfilled his promise and what did she do, she hurt him.

RAAVI-(pointing towards his finger)This...You..You have not taken it out(tears on the eyelids)

He got uncomfortable. He didn't want to show her that her promise still mattered the most to him.

SHIVA- A..Aaa...Yes actually this ring was very tight. I tried a lot to remove it but it doesn't come out.

She guessed that he was lying. Her guilt doubled on seeing his unconditional love and this situation which se had put him into. But she gathered courage.

RAAVI- Then why didn't you break it?(looking straight into his eyes)

He said nothing and broke the eye contact. If he would speak a word more to her, he would again fall for her. With great difficulty he had handled himself.

He just moved to the other side and she too. Both of them took their phones out. Their angles were such that he was able to see what she was doing on her phone.

A few moments later, her phone rang, and it showed "GYNAECOLOGIST". She panicked looking at it and cut the call. But doctor called again. She picked it and said that she was busy and would call later.

Shiva wondered why was she lying and why was the doctor calling her. Was she alright? Was she hiding something?

Before he could ask her about it, she spoke up.

RAAVI- So how is life?

SHIVA- Nothing much. What about you?

RAAVI- Same..Home Office Home Office. How...How is everyone (hesitant)

SHIVA- Bhai and Bhabhi are fine. What about Ma Papa...Sorry I mean Uncle Aunty.

RAAVI- They are fine (she was hurt). She couldn't face him now. She just wanted to move out of there.

And then lift opened and they went their ways without seeing each other. Both cried that night. For Raavi, not only Shiva, she had also lost her Bhaiya Bhabhi, who loved her so much. Shiva had found his parents figure in her parents. They loved him very much.

But everything had changed now. She had no chance to win back the love of her Pandya Family. And he had no right to call them Ma Papa.

While engrossed in thoughts of today and past, Shiva heard Dhara's loud voice. She was in pain. He realised that the time had come. He put on his shirt,took his phone and took out the car.

Gautam and Dhara took the back seat and they reached the hospital in 15 minutes. 2 hours later, Gautam and Shiva heard the voice of a baby crying. Shiva hugged Gautam while he shed a tear.

SHIVA- Congrats Bhai((laughing)

GAUTAM- Shiva you became Chachu ..OMG. Is this true??(he was jumping out of happiness))

Then Doctor came out and he calmed himself down.

DOCTOR- Congrats Mr. Pandya. It's a girl.

GAUTAM- Thanks Doctor. But how is my wife?

DOCTOR- She is fine. Don't worry.
