I hear my doorbell ring and head over to see who it is. As I am walking I hear a loud continuous pounding on the door. I already knew who it was.
When I open the door my best friend Sydney comes in screaming. "Girls' Night tonight!" In her hand I see a garment bag and the big purse she only uses to carry around her straightener and make up. I wasn't startled by her abruptness you never know what this girl will come up with next.
I close the door behind her and go back to my spot on the couch in front of the Television.
"What are you doing?!"
I look up at her puzzled. “I’m watching TV?”
“Tracey and Crystal will be here in a couple hours, ready to go!”
“I was hoping to stay home tonight, watch some movies, and eat some popcorn.”
“It’s Saturday night, so get your ass in the shower while I heat up the iron,” she grabs me by the arm. “Lego!”
I reluctantly get up and head to the shower.
