Episode 9 - I was maze for you

"Last time on Total Drama Anarchy... On a freezing cold day, the teams played a game of tug of war... on WATER! Courtney is still trying and failing to apologize to Duncan, all while Duncan is secretly plotting to get Courtney kicked off. Heather and Justin are doing the same, as well as Scott. Gwen and Trent blew up at each other and now aren't speaking. I brought back Dawn, but also the invincibility statue that is somewhere hidden around the island! Courtney furrowed her brows as she dug through one of the bushes. 

"Stupid invincibility statue," she muttered under her breath as she held her hand up to flick a bug away that was on her thumb. It was early in the morning, and so every other camper was fast asleep. Now was the perfect and only chance she had to have the whole camp to herself, and she was going to find it. Especially with Heather already hating her, Alejandro following whatever Heather does, Duncan hating her all of a sudden, Scott hating her from last season and all 4 of their manipulative abilities together, Courtney knew she had to secure her place and keep herself safe. 

Plus the whole thing about her having to apologize. The word felt vile on her tongue itself. She'd never had to apologize before, because she was always right,

She stretched her neck up and searched around the forest for any hidden compartments or something that Chris would hide a statue of his face in. Instead, she saw a frustrated farm boy sticking his head through a hole in a tree.

"Idiot," Courtney whispered to herself as he stuck his head back out and started screeching while trying to pull a squirrel off his face. Courtney approached him and placed her hands on her hips as he caught his breath.

"What are you doing out here?" He said slyly, crossing his arms.

Courtney shrugged. "The same as you."

CONFESSION
Courtney: Now is my chance to apologize to Scott where no one can interrupt me.

Scott brushed himself off and spun around.

"Wait!" Courtney called. He spun around and quirked a brow. "Where are you going?"

"Away from you, obviously."

Courtney nibbled on her lip. "I just wanted to... Talk to you, y'know?"

Scott furrowed his brows. "About?"

"About, uh... Y'know... Everything that happened the last time we saw each other?" Courtney said quietly, slumping her shoulders and looking at the ground.

"Oh, you mean when you came up with a plan to use me to get yourself the million dollars?" Scott grunted. "Not to mention, you drew me with a rat's tail! A rat's tail!"

Courtney grinned meekly. "Rats are um... Cute! Sometimes."

Scott gritted his teeth. "Whatever. I'm out of here."

"Wait!" Courtney called again.

Scott rolled his eyes and patiently waited as Courtney opened her mouth. 

"I'mreallysorryforwhatIdid," Courtney said quickly, before wincing and closing her eyes.

"What was that?" The farm boy said with a grin.

"I said..." Courtney grimaced before taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry for what I did to you... Back in last season."

Scott snorted. "Yeah, like I believe that."
