Carlson's PoV

Her eyes felt comforting... at the same time it gives you hope... I don't know. From the very first time I saw her, her smiles were really something, but I ignored them because of the face that my mom is not in a good condition. Now that I got to somehow relax and was able to talk to her... I feel like my heart's about to explode. I don't know why but I like her.

Mom's really fond of her as well. "Anak" na nga ang tawag niya dito kahit hindi namin kaano ano si Teptep.

I can't blame my mom though, she's really easy to talk to

Stephanie's PoV

"Teptep nak?"

"Tita Catherine? Bakit po?"

"Lika dito nak"

"Bakit po?" Sambit ko paglapit ko kay tita... naiilang pa ko pero gusto ni tita Catherine na tita itawag ko sa kanya... naging malapit na talaga sakin ang mga Borromeo as time went by.

"Nak may boyfriend ka na ba?"

"P-po?"

"Ma? Why ask her that? Haha" tanong ni Laurice sa mama niya

"Bakit? Masama ba magtanong??"

"No... but you know she's still adjusting with us baka di na yan bumalik dito sige ka mawala favourite nurse mo"

"Hindi naman ganun si Teptep. Di ba nak?"

"A-ahh opo hehe"

"So?? May boyfriend ka ba??"

"W-wala po tita"

"Talaga?? Alam mo bagay kayo ng anak ko"

"P-po?!"

"Ma! Hahaha omg" Laurice

Jusko buti na lang wala dito si Carlson nakakahiya

Carlson's PoV

"Sige na nak?? Ha??"

"Tita... juskolord"

"What's happening here?" Sambit ko pagpasok ng kwarto ni mama

I went out to get us some food habang nasa trabaho si papa. Pagbalik ko Teptep is here and mom seems to be telling her something

"Nak!!"

"Ma?"

"Nak lika"

"Geez mom haha, Carlson prepare yourself"

"Huh? Why?"

"Carlson, is Teptep beautiful??"

"Mom?" I asked confused

"Tita..." Teptep said covering her face

"Answer my question Carlson"

"Y-yeah. She is. Bakit ma?"

"See!!! I told you maganda ka!"

Stephanie's PoV

"Ano... okay na ko dito Carlson hehe"

"What? Here? Lobby ng ospital?"

"Oo. Nako hindi mo ko kailangan ihatid"

Kasi naman, si tita Catherine. Nung magpapaalam na ko kasi tapos na shift ko pinahatid pa ko kay Carlson 😣 nakakahiya

"Come on. I insist. Isa pa, pinagtulakan na ko ni mama palabas ng kwarto niya para ihatid ka. Baka mabato pa ko non ng tsinelas pag bumalik ako agad"

"Pero..."

"It's fine. Isa pa... gusto din naman talaga kita makilala"

"H-ha?"

"It may seem like taking advantage pero... gusto kita mas makilala pa Teptep. More than being my mom's nurse... I wanna know you better"

"A-ako? Bakit ako?"

"Coz you're a wonderful person"

Carlson's PoV

She looked away pagkasabi ko non

"Hey... totoo yung sinabi ko. You being dedicated in your work despite being alone here in Germany amazes me already, at gusto ko pa talagang mas makilala ka... not just because of how you treated my mom like a family but because humahanga ako sa mismong pagkatao mo Stephanie"

"Alam mo para kang mama mo, napakadirecho niyo naloloka ako jusko"

"Oh well, she's my mom after all? Haha"

"Hay nako. Sige na tara na nga, baka gabihin ka pa pabalik dito delikado"

"Even off your duty you still think of others more than yourself, wow"

Stephanie's PoV

Mabubuang ako sa pamilyang to jusko. Ang bilis ng kabog ng dibdib ko 😣

"Tara na nga, iuwi kita dyan eh" lah buang ano yon self?!

"What?"

"W-wala wala!"
