You and your best friend Natasha were having lunch and talking about boys. Was there anything new? Absolutely not. You were explaining to her how you had just gotten Tinder and how you were having some troubles.

"Well, let me take a look." She says grabbing your phone and scooting closer so you both could see your phone screen. She opens the dating app and starts swiping through it.

"Oo, okay. Here's Josh? Good with kids and killer looks." She says as you shrugged not really feeling it.

She continued swiping and thoroughly going through each guy and see if it could be a possible match. So far most of them you weren't too sure about and the ones you thought could be something, you weren't a match.

"Oh, oh. This one might be it!" She says as she started going through his pictures and profile description.

"Bucky, that's a cute name." You say as you had a good feeling about this one.

"So what do you say? Am I swiping right with him?" She says, you turned and smiled at her and nodded saying

"Yeah, why not." She swiped and you were both excited to see he had swiped right on you too. You both excitedly hugged each other feeling relieved and still had a glimmer of hope.

"Now we just wait and see if he says anything to you. I had fun today, you'll have to keep me updated on every little detail." She says as you both stood up and hugged each other goodbye. On your way home you had heard your phone ding but weren't able to look at it until you got home. Once you got into your apartment you impatiently looked at your phone and butterflies went off in your stomach when you find out that Bucky had sent you a message.

Hi Bucky, I'm good! How are you? You responded. He called you doll, you sat there and thought about that until another ding sounded and took you out of your trance.

Well I'm talking to a pretty lady so how bad can I be? He thought you were pretty?

You're sweet! You two had hit it off right then and continued talking until late that night.

You had called Nat and told her everything about your conversation with Bucky and she was so happy for you. Telling you she had a good feeling about this one. Plus constantly asking when you were going on that first date.

About a week later and you and Bucky were still talking almost everyday. Just enjoying all your conversations and getting to know each other. By this time you had both exchanged numbers and tonight you were going to be FaceTiming for the first time. To say you were nervous was definitely an understatement.

Getting yourself ready, you took a hot shower and got dressed all cute then did your makeup. But not too much makeup. You were finishing up with your makeup when you got a text from none other than Bucky.

I can't wait to see your pretty face soon. Not going to lie I am a little nervous haha.

Hearing that he was nervous too kinda made you feel a bit better. You really were falling for Bucky and you were very hopeful that he was feeling the same.

Shaking out your nerves you had enough time to clean up your place before he was going to be calling you. Playing some music definitely helped calm your nerves as you were dancing them away. Soon you had finished cleaning your place and went to sit on the couch right as your phone started ringing. Here goes nothing. Taking a deep breath you answered the FaceTime call.

"Hi." You said shyly as you were met with Bucky's beautiful blue eyes and amazing smile. Your heart was for sure doing flips right now.

"Hey doll. It's nice to finally see your face." He says cutely as you were trying not to freak out.

"Yeah, you too!" You say sending him a smile which he gladly reciprocated.

"You look amazing by the way." He says as a blush formed on your cheeks making you hide your face in your hands.

"Thank you Buck." You say using your new found nickname for him. But you were sure everyone else called him that too.

"I like hearing you say that." He says making your cheeks flush once again. He chuckled to himself

"So, there was something I wanted to ask you." He said

"Okay."

"I was wondering if you wanted to maybe meet up and go out to dinner tomorrow?" Your heart was racing.

"I would love to." You say as the two of you both smiled wide.

"Great, I'll send you the address of the restaurant and the time. I'm excited to see you in person." He says looking at you with his big blue eyes.

"Me too."

You both continued talking for the next hour without realizing it and then went about the rest of your days. You were more than excited for tomorrow and wanted it to come faster.

Calling Natasha you had told her everything about your events for the day and then you had headed to bed. You spent the next stressing about what you were going to wear and how you were going to do your hair and makeup. Once you had decided on what to wear you did your hair and makeup and then looked in the mirror making sure you had looked presentable enough for tonight.

You put the address that Bucky had sent you into your gps as you started on your journey there. You got there in about 5 minutes not realizing how close the two of you must live. You had parked your car and saw Bucky standing by the entrance waiting for you. You smiled to yourself as your heart did a flip.

"Hi Buck." You said as you approached him. He turned around and got a good luck before smiling and taking you into his arms for a hug. You wrapped your arms around him and instantly felt safe.

"Hi doll. You look beautiful." He says holding your arms out and looking at you with a smile on his face.

"Shall we?" He asked, holding his hand out for you to take. You took his hand and interlocked your fingers together. He led you inside and told the host table for two.

The night was even more perfect than you would have ever imagined. He was an amazing gentleman. Opening doors, pulling your seat out. It was just perfect.

You had just finished up and were heading back out to your cars. You're hands interlocked together as he pulled you to a stop.

"I really enjoyed tonight. If you would have me I would love to do this again." He says grabbing your other hand

"I would love to Bucky, Tonight was perfect" You said smiling at him . He brought you closer to him as he wrapped you up in a hug. As you were pulling away slowly you both had a moment where you just looked at each other and new you wanted this to happen next.

His hand made its way up to hold your face as he glanced down to your lips and back up to your eyes. As if he was asking if it was okay. You nodded and he brought your face closer to his as your lips brushed together. It was a sweet and gentle kiss. A perfect way to end a perfect night.

"I'll see you soon yeah?" He asked when you had pulled away smiling.

"Definitely"
