Sneaking Around

You and Bucky had been a thing for a little while now. Although no one really knew. Well, except for Sam. He had been pestering the two of you and just so happened to witness one of your secret kisses. You made him swear he wouldn't tell anybody just yet. You loved having Bucky all to yourself and you wished it could stay like that forever.

"Ready for our morning jog?" Bucky asks walking into the kitchen where you were eating a granola bar. You nodded at your boyfriend. He smiled to himself before checking if anyone was coming. When he saw that the coast was clear he came over to where you were and pinned you against the island counter.

"Buck." You say laughing slightly. He just smiled cutely at you before leaning down and placing a couple kisses on your lips before leaving them there for a longer kiss. Smiling against his lips you cupped his face kissing him a little longer.

"Now I'm ready." He says hands on the counter on either side of you. You laughed shaking your head. He stole another kiss before you both left headquarters and started on your morning jog. Lately you have been wanting to become a bit healthier and maybe lose a bit of weight. Bucky was right there behind you supporting you like the amazing boyfriend that he was.

"You've been doing so good lately doll, I am very proud of you." He says as you had just finished your first lap. You looked at him seeing he had a very genuine smile on his face.

"Thank you Buck," You smiled back at him. The rest of your job consisted of laughter and a little bit of competition. You always had a blast whenever it was just Bucky and you. The two of you made your way back to headquarters hand in hand. But once you got to the door you stole another kiss and went our separate ways. Not knowing that Nat had been watching the two of you all morning.

You were just about to grab a water bottle from the fridge when you felt someone grab your wrist and pull you into the hallway.

"Nat, what are you doing?" You ask, "I was just going to get water."

"So you and Bucky? How long?" She said and you started to panic.

"What? Bucky and I? We are just friends." You lie

"Say that to the make out session I witnessed this morning before you left for your jog." She says as you sigh knowing she caught the two of you.

"Ok fine, just a couple of weeks is all." You pause. "But literally no one else knows except for Sam." You say as she just smiled at you.

"I'm happy for you (Y/N). I see how he looks at you. And I see the way you look at him. You guys are perfect for each other." She says hugging you and you felt a little weight lift off your shoulders now that your best friend had found out.

"Thank you Nat, he is pretty perfect." You share a laugh before going back and grabbing a water then heading to your room to take a shower.

Drying your hair you got a knock on your door. You walked over to open it to see Bucky standing there with a bowl of popcorn. He leaned against the door frame smirk laying on his face.

"Oh get in here." You said laughing pulling him into your room and shutting the door behind you. You both settled on your bed after picking a movie to watch. Bucky had his arm around your waist as you were leaned into his side taking a handful of popcorn. You had been watching the movie for about an hour and you felt your eyes start to get droopy. You leaned up to place a kiss on Bucky's jaw before cuddling more into his side and taking a nap.

Bucky smiled at the picture of you laying on his side wrapping your arm around his waist. Bucky had it really bad for you. And he did for a while before you two even got together. He never wanted to lose your friendship. You were one of the most important people in his life. He couldn't risk it. Even though you only thought Sam and now Nat knew. Bucky of course had to tell Steve. How else would he have had the courage to ask you out.

Your door swung open to see Steve and Sam there were about to start yelling but soon backed up when they saw you were asleep. Steve looked at Bucky so proudly. He was so happy for his best friend and to know after decades he still got his moves.

"Well don't the two of you look so cute." Sam says quietly as Bucky grabbed a free pillow and chucked it at the two of them so they could leave. They got the idea and left closing the door behind them. Bucky was sitting peacefully there with you in his arms. Kissing your head every now and then and feeling you stir and you grip tightening each time you did. He sure was the luckiest man in the world.

Later you had woken up, realizing how long you had been asleep for and saw that Bucky was still in the same position smiling down at you.

"Hi doll, did you sleep okay?" He asks, running his fingers through your hair. You smiled at him nodding.

"Yeah, you know you're the best pillow ever." You say giggling slightly making him chuckle. You both stayed there for a little bit before Bucky decided he should probably make it back to his room so no one was suspicious.

"I'll see you at dinner time doll." He said kissing your forehead before sneaking into out of your room and making it over to his.

Before you heard his door shut you saw him walking back into your room with none other than Tony Stark behind him. Oh no, you thought.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here? Bucky and (Y/N) sneaking around?" He says as you fumble with your fingers nervously.

"Why didn't any of you say anything sooner! I'm happy for the both of you." He says as you let out the breath you were holding. He patted Bucky on the back before looking at you. Tony always saw you as family hence the reason you were scared for him to find out. He looked at you giving you a smile.

"I just want the both of you to be careful. I'm looking at you when I say this Bucky." He says pointing his finger at him before making his way out of the room.

Now that almost everyone knew you both didn't have to sneak around anymore. Except maybe your late night ice cream talks.

"Well now that the cat is out of the bag. What do you say we go join everyone in the common room." He says holding his hand out for you to take. You gladly took it getting off your bed and interlacing your fingers together walking out into the common room together. Once you made it into the room there was a bunch of hollers and yelling at the two of you making the both of you laugh.

You enjoyed the rest of the night playing games with your boyfriend and best friends by your side and you felt so content and knew this was where you were meant to be.
