Calling

The next morning you wake to a burning pain in your back. You fall of the bed as you feel the pain begin to make your skin boil. You scream in pain making Castiel jump up out of bed.
"Y/n?! What's wrong what happened" he said frantically trying to help.
*You screech in pain again*
Castiel looks at your back and sees the base of your wings are red and burned. Castiel quickly throws some clothes on and throws a robe and shorts on you. The then swoops you up into his arms and carry's you down stairs. When he reaches the base of the stair in the common room he starts looking around for Banner.
"BANNER I NEED YOUR HELP NOW!" Castiel yells.
Banner comes running around the corner with Natasha.
"What happened?!" Banner says in confusion.
"I don't know she woke up screaming in pain and when I looked at her back the base of her wings are burned." Castiel says in a panic.
"Follow me to the lab I'll run an examination" Banner says as he walks quickly to the lab.
Castiel place you on the bench and you slide the brine down enough so Banner can see the burned base of your wings. When Banner sees how bad the damage is his jaw drops. Castiel walks behind you and sees it has gotten ten times worse. The skin around the wings had almost completely melted away. Your muscle and tissue is now open and exposed to the outside world. Banner quickly rushes out of the room leaving you and Castiel in the room alone. Cas takes your hand into his and kisses it.
"We're going to figure this out." He says with a forced smile.
"How?..." you say in an not so confident voice. Castiel kisses your forehead softly making you wanna cry from fear.
"What if this kills me Cas....what if after this I'm done..." you say with tears beginning to stream down your face.
Tears begin to pool in Castiels eyes but he forces them down. Tony bursts into the room and gives you a worried look.
"Here's the problem...I can't see her wings and I need to if I'm going to operate or run tests." Tony says to Cas.
"Do you have any holy oil?" Cas asks.
"N-no?" Banner says quickly. "Where can we get it?"
"Jerusalem..." Castiel says. "I can get it real quick I'll be back in a few minutes."
Castiel suddenly disappears leaving you alone with Tony and Banner. Tony walks over to you a softly touches the burnt tissue on your back making you scream in pain. Tony quickly moves his fingers away while giving you a worried look. After a few more minutes Cas returns with a jar full of holy oil. He pour some on the ground and lights it with a match.
"Tony...Banner give me your glasses" Cas says as he extends his arm out to Tony.
Tony and Banner hand their glasses to Cas and he runs them over the holy oil.
"Alright this should help you see her wings when she takes them out." Castiel says as he hands them back their glasses.
When Tony and Banner have the glasses on you let your wings out, or should I say what's left of them. Your wings where all bone. They were no longer the beautiful fluffy black and Gray feathers you had just seen last night. You look over at Cas and see pure shock and sadness appear in his eyes. You then let your head fall as your eyes begin to fill up it's tears. Castiel places his hands on either side of your face and lifts it so your eyes meet his.
"Hey...we're going to figure this out...your not dying...not today...not ever...." Castiel says as he slowly strokes your cheeks.
"Well run some tests and figure out what doing this to her." Tony says to Castiel.
