In the morning, every troll, music and rivered, gathered to watch the Lyker be trained. Branch did not agree with this, at all. He wanted the Lyker to be free, but he went to watch anyways. The rivered troll from the stable, Tekay, was also there. The lagoon was neutral ground, so no one was fighting with anyone. They all just stood, and watched the Lyker through the glass.

There were ropes tied around the Lyker, as several rivered trolls held her close to the edge of the lagoon. "Hold her steady," Clay said, as the Lyker thrashed around. One rivered troll, with purple hair, and brown fur, climbed onto the Lyker, holding on tightly.

"You ready?" a rivered troll who held the ropes asked.
"I was born ready," the rivered troll on the Lyker replied with a smirk.

They let go of the ropes, the Lyker immedioutly bursting away, deeper into the water. She thrashed around, trying to whip off the troll on her back.

"Whoa!" the troll shouted. "Whoa!"

He couldn't hold on any longer. He flung off of the Lyker, landing in the water with a big splash.

"Ha!" Branch laughed out loud. "Serves you right!" Clay glared over at Branch, not liking his attitude.

The ropes were flung back around the Lyker, as they dragged her back to the edge. Branch crossed his arms, not liking the way they were treating this poor animal. Even Tekay seemed upset, as she watched.

Another rivered troll climbed onto the Lyker, but before he was ready, she pulled out of the ropes, jumping around in the water. The troll flew off her back immedioutly, landing in the water.

This went on for half the day. Rivered trolls trying, and failing to train the Lyker.

"Why won't they just give up, and let her go?" Branch complained, as he crossed his arms, looking away from the lagoon. He was very upset about the Lyker being forced into captivity, but he was even more upset at the fact that he felt like he knew this particular one. She looked so familiar. He just couldn't figure out how he knew her.

Clay stood on the edge of the lagoon, watching all the rivered trolls failing. He shook his head, looking angrier than ever before.

"Fine," he said. "If you want something done right... you gotta do it yourself."

He walked over to the Lyker, climbing onto her back. Immedioutly, she started swimming, thrashing around, but Clay held on, not loosening his grip at all.

She dove under the water, and jumped into the air, but Clay wouldn't let go. She stopped, tired, as she panted.

"That's what I thought," Clay said with a smirk. The Lyker wasn't going to give up. She dove back down under the water, swimming all the way down to the bottom. Clay's grip loosened a bit, and the Lyker swam up, jumping into the air.

She landed back down in the water, on her back. Clay finally letting go.

"Wow," Tekay said with a slight grin. "That Lyker sure has a lot of spirit." Branch looked at her, hearing the word spirit, a thought coming to his mind. He looked back at the Lyker. Could it really be...

Clay swam up, gasping for air, but the Lyker wasn't done with him yet. She jumped up, landing on top of him, as she dragged him down to the bottom of the lagoon.

"She's gonna kill him!" Branch shouted, realizing what was going on. "We have to stop her!" He looked at Poppy, and Tekay. "You two go up to the lagoon, and pull Clay out with your hair. I'll stay here, and try to distract the Lyker."
