Dawn peaked over the horizon, brightening the base's windows with the golden light. The medic's been up ever since, debating on his current predicament. But alas, it was time to let his love rest to be at peace. It was one thing that he felt the guilt of her death in his servos all these years still piling up, but now realizing she wasn't one with the AllSpark because of him being too stubborn to let her go pained him more. It made his choice easier.
Walking away from the love of his life was still the hardest decision he's ever had to be strong enough to endure, but this one was way up there too. This here was that goodbye he'd promised he'd never say to her.
He weeped, unlocking his emotions from so long ago as he quivered, not wanting to break the bond, as he'd truly lose her forever.
Before he talked himself out of it, the process started after he sent the message to do so. His spark started to rapidly pulse as the pain fizzled out after a while, the indication that the process finished itself off.
Her side of the bond started growing weak until he couldn't feel her anymore, he couldn't feel anything anymore.
Of all the times he'd curse himself with the sparkbond's pain, the only thing he wanted was to feel it again, for he'd know it was his lover still here with him. But there was nothing, nothing but a healthy sparkbeat of his own.
"Rest well, my love" he thought to himself, suddenly at peace with the thought of her finally being at peace. He got up and ready for another eventful day around the base.

A cracked light from above was the only source of an Earthy feel to the abandoned cave. That is, until the resting femme's spark started to glow from underneath her chassis plating.
The energy created from the sparkbond ending erupted within, smothering the cave's walls with the bright blue streams of light it provided.
The sparkbond started to erase itself from her offlined state of mind, and with the femme being deceased, could not file the bond as both her lover and their memories was erased from her filing banks in an instant, as well as their sparkbond being permanently deleted from her systems, The wavelengths of the memory of her love tried to save itself, before the firewall blocked and deleted him and slant thing having to do with the sparkbond they once shared. All gone in an instant.
The energy grew to be powerful as it made it's way through her fuel lines once more down to her spark, zapping with life. Her nerves sizzled and sent messages to her processor, waking up the stasis-like mind of hers, and finally, the energy spread to her body, creating enough to manually jumpstart the femme back to life, her optics opening as her venting systems and energon levels started up again and sorted itself out.
Her spark jumped around until it finished, settling back down and running properly now that she was awake and could support her stasis-like body.
Her optics fluttered on and off until they finally settled to the darkness of the cave, the scared femme looking around for any clues as to what exactly happened to her.
Her body felt mass amounts of pain as she pushed herself up to walk, pushing her frayed wires back into place as she turned her biolights on to look at her damaged frame.
"Jeez, what happened to me?" She questioned out loud, noticing some parts of her metal missing and whatnot. Her joints clicked as she moved, Y/D slowly piecing together that she must've been here in this position for a long time. She would've never guessed she was just brought back to life after years and years of being offline.
The cave had only one entrance, which Y/D followed until she seen daylight again, squeezing out of the dark pit of the cave.
Nothing looked out of place as she surveyed this new world, noting the beauty of nature. She smiled, before walking over to a nearby rock to ponder her thoughts for a second.
What was she doing here in the first place? Ah that's right, the war. She must've crash landed here somehow, and maybe had the strength to set up shop there in the cave before powering down. It was the only way of doing so and waking up there in the safe haven of the cave, right?
But for some reason, she felt her memory was failing her. Something, or someone, was missing.

"I did it." Ratchet muttered to the tall cybertronian standing next to him, the Prime's servo on his shoulder plating for comfort. He already knew what he meant by the singular phrase.
"She will be treated among the best within the AllSpark, old friend. Do not worry, for she is at peace."
"I hope so Optimus, I sure hope so." Ratchet said to him, the three kids already up from their sleepover listening into their conversation.
"Did you hear that? Ratchet erased the bond!" Miko whispered to the two boys, Jack facepalming as Raf kept quiet.
"Yeah, I wonder why. Way to go, Miko." Jack said unamused. "What do you know about Cybertronian relationships?!?"
"Apparenty enough to talk some sense into the DocBot. C'mon Jack, No one wanted to see him in pain like that."
"But what if he's in more pain with himself now that he lost her? That's all he ever said: 'Our sparkbond is the only thing I have left of her.'" Raf said as he tugged on his blanket, Jack nodding in acknowledgement.
"Would you purposefully keep your lover from being at peace?" The firey girl questioned back, not earning a response from neither boys.
"That's what I thought."
"...Ratchet?" Optimus' worried tone in his voice pulled both all the kids and the Medic back to reality, Ratchet looking to where his optics were glued to, which would be his monitoring system up on the big screen.
The kids headed for the rail so they too could see what everyone was looking at, but to them, It was just a red dot.
Ratchet studied the red dot on the map, looking to his wrist plates to see if any foreign signal came through to him, but nothing.
"It's a Autobot life signal." He said out loud, which helped the kids figure out what they were looking for.
"Wheeljack?" Optimus questioned.
"Mm can't be. My status on him says otherwise. He's somewhere in our galaxy, but definitely not here on Earth at this moment."
Optimus hummed, recruiting Bumblebee and Bulkhead privately for this mission. They showed and the Prime told them their findings, Ratchet opening a bridge for them to hop into.
"Let's hope this isn't a waste of time and energy, ay?" Ratchet said to himself, closing the portal as Optimus started their live comm link like always.
