George had just gotten home. The ride home was quiet, no talking or music. George would be lying if he said it wasn't uncomfortable but he was too tired to care at this point. George didn't really feel like anything after what just happened so he just lied down on his bed. He had full intentions to sleep despite it being barely ten pm.
George had plugged in his phone and closed his eyes, he knew when he woke up he would have countless call from Dream that he would have to answer. Apologies, explanations, maybe a confession but he wanted to deal with it tomorrow.
Nothing was going to stop him from just sleeping right now.
Just as he was about to drift off he heard a buzz. He wanted to ignore it, he rolled over to face anywhere but his phone. It buzzed again and he wanted to ignore it but his mind kept yelling at him to look. It could be Dream, an apology!
George rolled over again and grabbed his phone, the screen was cold. He tapped the screen making it turn on. The bright screen blinded him stalling his movements for a second.
*one new message from: Sapnap*
George sighed. Some part of him wanted it to be Dream. He opened his phone to read the message.
Sapnap:
Hey
Just so you know Dream got home safe
He arrived half an hour ago
Some girl gave him a ride home.George:
Oh ok
Thanks.Sapnap:
Call me when you wanna talk
I feel like this is something you shouldn't keep to yourself for too long.George knew Sapnap was right, if he didn't tell someone about this he would let his brain twist it into a weird scenario.
George:
Let's call now if that's okay?George's phone immediately started ringing. He answered it and sat up on his bed.
"Hi." He said quietly.
"Hey George! Are you okay?"
"I think I am."
George walked over to his desk chair, it would be easier to talk if he could move around a bit.
"What do you mean think?" Sapnap asked.
"Well, I confessed my feelings for Dream, but for the first time.. I don't feel like waiting around for him. He showed me how he feels and now I can move on."
George thought he was being honest, he could let go of this crush. He knew that their friendship had to stay. That was something he couldn't imagine losing. Dream wasn't just his best friend but he was also George support system, his job, the love-
"George age you sure you are just ready to move on. It's been like half an hour since."
George started to spin the chair around, he was nervous for no reason.
"I actually don't know, I-" George dropped his head as he spoke, he noticed the bright yellow-ish looking hoodie he was wearing. It was Dreams. Obviously Dream cared, he gave his hoodie away while George was mad at him. How could I accuse him of not actually caring? George was ashamed himself.
