(I'll tell you when to start the song. I also wanted to add that I didn't add in the first verse where there is no piano.)

When Tommy hung up I felt my heart plummet.  I didn't even think of telling Tommy about Aaron.  I just said his name.  Tommy couldn't have been jealous.  There's no way he likes me that way.

I shake my head and swing my chair around to face Aaron.

"That was weird."  I say as I got up to sit back down at my keyboard.

"Who was that?"  Aaron asked me as he sat down on the bench, like he had before.

"That was Tommy.  He's one of Clay's friends.  We met last night and were talking for a while."  I explained.  "He was being super weird though so something must have happened when he told me to give him a minute."

I was just thinking out loud at this point.  I didn't understand why he could've been rude to me like that.

I just sighed and started playing I Hear a Symphony by Cody Fry

(Start the song now :))

I heard Aaron behind me humming along as I played.

I grinned. I hadn't played piano for almost two years. I can't believe the only reason I had for stopping was Aaron.

"You're not that bad actually." He said beside me.

I shoved him. "Shut up and let me play." and giggled when he feigned hurt.

I played the song, getting super into it when Aaron started humming again.

With simple songs I wanted more

I began to sing.

Perfection is so quick to bore

I played the few notes that were in-between the lines and continued singing.

You are more beautiful by far.

I looked over to see Aaron had stood up and was filming me. I smiled and winked at the camera.

Our flaws are who we really are.

I closed my eyes and got into playing. I was nearing the climax of the song which just so happened to be my favorite part to play.

I prepared myself for the high note I needed to sing, completely forgetting about the fact that Aaron was filming me and I even forgot about what had happened with Tommy.

I could almost hear the violin in the back round.

I used to hear a simple song, that was until you came along...

I smiled to myself

You took my broken melody... and I hear a symphony,

I dragged the note out and went into a falsetto, all while my fingers flew across the keys, never missing a beat.

And now I hear... a symphony.

I sang, slowing my hands down as the song came to a close. I hummed a couple of runs to finish out the song.

As I hit the last key, a smile stretched across my entire face. The part of myself that I had locked away since Aaron moved, the part that had an insatiable love for music finally broke out of the wall I had built around it.

I felt it all come crashing down on me.

"YESSSSSS!!! That's my best friend!!!" Aaron shouted.

I snapped out of my trance and looked over to Aaron who I saw was still filming me.

"Put the fucking phone away." I told him.
