chapter 8 searching for a drake

hello guys im back dont got anything new to say except he you like the chapter now on with the dislcamier

"are we there yet" Natsu asked in a tired tone. Wendy who was next to him holding his hand said "not yet Natsu, its only been a hour since we left the guildhall and the village that the woods  where the drake is, isn't close for another hour." gray who was walking in front of Natsu said in a taunting manner "heh flame brain cant even walk for 2 hours what a weakling." Natsu than said while getting in front of gray "oh yeah why don't you fight me right here right now and we'll decide who's the weakling." gray smiled and started his ice make stance while Natsu was preparing a fist full of fire than gray said ice make lance and attacked Natsu but Natsu with his fist of fire than said fire dragon iron fist and smashed the lance and than through a normal punch in grays stomach but grey countered with a punch in Natsu stomach and they both fell to the ground in pain. Wendy immediately went to Natsu first and started healing him than healed Gray. Erza who was watching was just shaking her head while sighing and Lucy looked confused. Erza noticed Lucy's confused look and explained "basically those two consider each other rival and always try to antagonize each other and staring fight with each other its been that way since we were little. Lucy than nodded and after Natsu and gray stood up they continued to the villiage

1 hour later

the team arrived at the village Erza looked towards the group and said "alright we are going to split up and talk to everyone about the drake meet back here in about 30 minutes. Erza than walked off and after Erza walked off so did gray and Lucy in opposite directions the only ones left are Natsu and Wendy Natsu said to Wendy "you wanna ask people together" Wendy smiled cutely while holding his hand and said "sure I would love to" they both walk off together. after talking to the villagers Both Natsu and Wendy couldn't find any information so they gave up and went back to the meeting spot. back at the meeting spot everyone is gathered Erza than speaks to everyone "so how did you guys do" Lucy,gray,Wendy, and Natsu all shook their heads indicating that they found out nothing. Erza than says "well lucky for you guys I got some information apparently the drake likes to destroy trees and the woods and the people are mad that its destroying their woods and trees so all we got to do is find destroyed trees and wood and follow it to find the drake and with that said lets go towards the woods." everyone than started following Erza in the woods.

30 minutes of walking around the woods

the team were following a trail of destroyed trees and than all of a sudden they heard a roar it was the drake. the drake landed in front of them and said in a deep monstrous and angry voice "who are you all why have you come in my territory."Erza walked towards it and says "we are here because the people in the village want you to stop destroying their trees and woods."the drake than said "why must I stop destroying trees and woods that's all i have to do around here." Lucy than asked the drake "are you the only one out here?" The drake than said "yes I am the only one out here because unlike me the other Drake's are in hiding and waiting for our chance to strike and destroy the humans and create a new world." Natsu than stood in front of the drake and said "we will stop you all before you even get a chance." The drake than laughed "how will you puny humans stop us." Natsu than attacked the drake with a fire dragon iron fist and said "like that" the drake stumbled back a bit and looked surprised "that's dragon slayer magic is it not I see so you are a fire dragon slayer. Well in that case it seems I don't have to hold back than." The drake than attacked Natsu with a claw but Wendy blocked and countered it with a sky dragons crushing fang attack and stuns the drake for a split second than gray attacked with a ice make hammer and attacked the drake with it. it stumbled backwards and try to attack gray but than Erza requiped into her flame empress armor and slashed the drake the drake than was struggling to stand and Natsu finished it off with a fire dragons roar. Lucy was shocked and amazed she than said to herself " so this is the power of fairy tail mages. Lucy than asked everyone "so what did the drake mean when he said the other Drake's were hiding and waiting for Thier chance to strike and create a new world." Erza than said to Lucy "well it seems like they are hiding somewhere and waiting for us humans to lower our guard and wipe us out so we just have to be ready for that and with that said lets go back to the guild."

Everyone started walking back towards the guild Lucy walked next to Erza and asked "why did Natsu and Wendy get angry at me for saying dragons don't exist." Erza than told Lucy that they were both raised by dragons and thier dragon parents disappeared one day and that's the same day they came to the guild. Lucy than feels guilty about saying dragons don't exist. They than continued walking to the guild hall in silence.

Alright guys that another chapter done I might just do a timeskip to the tenrou island arc and go from their so hope you guys liked this chapter and have a nice day/night wherever you are.
