8: and everyone hates Sam.

*Ame*

Alaska calls me, frantically saying too many words at once. I do manage to hear Sam and Russia.

"Alaska I can't understand what you're trying to say but did Russia get kidnapped by Sam again?!"

"Yes! I couldn't follow them because he flew away from the road!"

"Russia still doesn't have a phone either, so we have absolutely no way to precisely track him!"

I hear worried barking. Alaska says "Call UN. We need to find out where Sam goes most of the time so we can find Russia."

"Alright."

"I'm gonna try going in the direction he flew, but it'll be on the road so I might not be accurate."

"It's better than nothing."

"I marked down the direction he went on a digital map. It'll help narrow down the search area a bit, hopefully."

He hangs up. I immediately call UN. "Sam just kidnapped Russia again!"

"When?!"

"Five minutes ago. Alaska was taking Russia home when Sam found them and flew away with Russia!"

"I'll contact Russia's family. Can you get Canada and Mexico? It's highly unlikely Sam left your guys' territory."

"Can do."

They hang up and I call the others.

*+*A week later*+*

Sam somehow found out, or knew we'd be looking, so he hasn't come home.

He calls me out of the blue. I pick up "What."

"I heard you're looking for me. Do you want some brother-sister bonding time?"

I stiffen. "No. Where's Russia?"

"Oh he's fine."

I hear Russia yell "SAM STOP!" then there's crashing sounds, like someone got thrown into something.

Sam says "Like I said. Fine."

"What was that crashing?"

"Oh, Russia knocked something over."

I really hope what's happening is not what I think it is. "You seem to be on friendly terms with Russia."

"Oh yes, we've been bonding."

I tightly grip the pen I'm holding. "You'd better stop."

"Or what? I can stay where I am for years! You can't do shit to me!"

I hear Sam get kicked and Russia yells "STOP TOUCHING ME!"

Then there's a terrified scream as Sam hangs up.

I slowly lower the phone. Everyone else in the room is staring at me. They clearly heard the scream.

"I know what Sam is doing and I don't like it."
