Chapter 10 Part 2

I went back to the first chapter and made Andy only 20 for this story to make it work better! Just an update on that, if you already knew that then ignore this and continue :)

SAM'S POV

I was shocked, to say the least, but I still didn't want to believe it. I shook my head and pulled out of his embrace.

"No you don't, your only saying that cause I'm pregnant." I said and crossed the room to sit on my bed.

"Yes, I do. I've known I loved you since I kissed you in the hospital. Please Angel, don't push me away!" He said worriedly.

I could tell there was some truth to what he was saying but I was just so scared he would leave after the baby was born and say he never loved me.

"Andy, this is going to end up like every young adult relationship. Girl gets pregnant, guy says he loves her, baby's born, guy realizes he can't be a dad and leaves, girl and baby get kicked onto the street by parents. It's inevitable."

I said and looked up at him, he looked like he was going to cry, and Andy never cries.

"Andy, baby, don't cry.." I said and walked to him, wiping where a few tears had fallen.

"W-why won't you believe me?" He asked, and I could finally see the heartbreak in his eyes.

I sighed and hugged his waist gently, resting my head on his chest. "I guess I'm just scared your going to leave..." I said and hugged him tighter.

I felt him shake his head. "I'm never gonna leave you baby. Never." He said and kissed my hair gently.

8 and a 1/2 Months later

I had finally accepted Ronnie's apology about 4 months ago and Ronnie had helped me find an apartment for when the baby was born.

I wasn't being kicked out, just lightly pushed into starting my own life. Ronnie had found me a cheep babysitter that was in my building that would work for me once Thaddeus was born, yes it was a boy.

Ronnie had also got me a job at a small restaurant and I would start about 2 weeks after Thad was born.

If your wondering why I haven't mentioned Andy yet, that's cause he lied.

About 3 months into my pregnancy he realized he couldn't be a father and told me he had to leave because he wasn't ready to raise a kid.

All I said to him was "I told you so." and hung up. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that too, he had called me from LA, 2 weeks after he had moved away.

Right now, to say I was in pain would be an understatement, and no I don't mean I'm heart broken, i mean I'm in labor.

"Push! Push!" One scared looking nurse said, I could tell he was a newbie. "breathe dear, just breathe." An elderly woman nurse said, she didn't look worried at all.

"What do you two think I'm doing?!" I asked them as another shot of pain went through me, if I ever have another kid - that ones gonna be a damn c-section!

10 Hours Later she finished labor, but this is next day when she wakes up.

I awoke in the bright hospital room to what sounded like Ronnie humming a soft tune. I looked around and saw Ronnie holding a small baby in his arms.

I tried to sit up but only got a shot of pain in return and I let out a small gasp. He turned to me and looked worried, "Don't sit up Hun, your too sore." he said and came to sit on the bed next to me.

He gently handed me a small baby who I automatically knew was Thaddeus.

Thad smiled a toothless smile up at me and I smiled back with a small, breathily chuckle. Ronnie handed me a bottle and I began to feed him from the small, blue, hospital bottle that held the formula they had given us to feed him while we were here.

"Wow," Ronnie said. "I'm a granddad, I feel old." he said with a fake frown.

"You are old." I countered with a smile.

"And your gonna be old." he said with a chuckle.

We sat and cracked jokes, took turns holding Thaddeus, and just talked for a bit till it was time to fill out his birth certificate.

I wrote his name as Thaddeus Andrew Winters and wrote down all the other important things like his fathers name and Thaddeus's weight before signing my name at the bottom, Ronnie signed as the witness.

I smiled and held Thad in my arms as he was officially typed into the US database as Thaddeus Andrew Winters.
