SAM'S POV

I stood in the kitchen making breakfast for me and Thaddeus as he got ready for school. Today was his last day of middle school and last day in Florida.

He had always wanted to move to LA and I had finally caved in and got us an apartment there, I told him a few weeks ago and I had never seen him more excited.

Despite the photos Thad was a little Andy. He dressed gothic and listened to his granddads music as well as Sleeping With Sirens, Kiss, Asking Alexandria, a few others, and - my least favorite - Black Veil Brides.

He had always been bullied for it so to hear we were moving across the country was music to his ears.

Ronnie wasn't coming with us though, he now had a wife named Sydney and she was from England, his baby girl was now 16 and he couldn't just pick up and leave.

Thad came down the stairs and kissed my cheek. "Morning Mom." he said and went to sit at the table where I had set his breakfast.

"Morning Dear, excited for your last day?" I asked and sat down next to him, pushing my reddish brown hair from my eyes.

I was surprised to see that unlike most women I didn't age very much. the only wrinkles I had was in the corners of my eyes when I smiled and you could only notice them if I pointed them out.

"Oh yeah! LA is going to be amazing!" He said and ate his breakfast quickly, I could tell he wanted to get this day over with so he could be in LA sooner.

I let out a small laugh and he kissed my cheek again before rushing out the door, the chains on his backpack and pants clinking as he ran and I smiled.

I picked up out plates and began to wash them, hoping his bullies didn't hurt him too much today cause it would be the last day they could.

THADDEUS'S POV

I got to school in record time, around 11 minutes if I recall correctly, and rushed to my locker.

Carter and Will (my bullies) didn't get here till 9 cause they rode the bus and it was only 8:50 so I quickly grabbed my books and went to class so they couldn't beat me up this morning, I was in too good of a mood to let that happen.

Once I was in class I found myself doodling Jayy Von Monroe from BOTDF in my sketch book as I listened to Candyland.

I have always had a HUGE crush on Jayy Von Monroe, I know it's silly, he's a 35 year old rockstar, but I cant help it!

Mom knows I'm gay, she don't care though. 'As long as they make you happy I don't care who it is.' Mom had said when I told her. I couldn't express how happy I was when she said that.

Soon class started and Carter and Will came in late as always. The teacher wasn't there yet and I sighed lightly, hoping Mrs. Longmire would walk in soon.

Carter looked over my shoulder and snatched my sketchbook away. "Hey Will, come look at this! It's that fags boyfriend!" He said and his little posse laughed.

"God emo, could you or your boyfriend be any uglier!?!" Will laughed. That one hurt a little.

"Geez! Don't you have anything better to do than draw shitty drawings of ugly fags you gaywad!!" Carter yelled and threw my book in the trash.

They went and sat down just as Mrs. Longmire came in. She saw my book in the trash and sighed. Picking it up and shaking the excess paint off of it she placed it on my desk on the way too hers.

This was art class, I took this class at the beginning of the year to have a safe place away from my bullies, but Carter and Will took it as an easy A.

End of the day

I quickly walked out of my Algebra 1 class. Yeah, yeah, I know, Iknow. 'Algebra 1?! Your only an 8th grader!' Well, I'm too smart to be in pre-algebra so they put me in a online Algebra 1 class. yeah, on top of being gothic and gay I'm also a nerd.

I grabbed my books from my locker and placed them in my bag before hurrying to get out of the Hell Hole they call middle school.

I sighed as I noticed Will and Carter following me down the street. No body knew it was my last day in Florida except for them cause they lived in the same building as me, yay! Note the sarcasm.

I quickened my pace and hurried with the lock on the building. Once I was in I ran to the elevator and hurried in, pressing level 7 and hopping it would hurry.

I heard the front door unlock just as the doors closed and I sighed in relief, I was finally safe from them forever.

Once I reached my floor I walked down the long, green and brown hallway to apartment 447J and unlocked it. My mom was packing the last of the kitchen when I walked it.

My mom was REALLY pretty with no wrinkles except the ones on her eyes that she would have to point out. She looked like she was still in high school with her 'emo' hairstyle and large 'hipster' glasses.

She dressed a lot like me. Lots of black and eyeliner with ripped skinny jeans and chains. Grandpa dressed like that to, so I guess it's just a family thing.

Mom also had a lot of tattoos, a full sleeve on her right arm and a few on her left and my full name right below her breasts on her rib cage. That was the only thing that kept men away when she was in her bathing suit, her sons name on her rib cage.

I smiled and gave her a hug, bending down to kiss her cheek. I was around 6 foot even though I was only in 8th grade and she was only around 5 foot 9.

I have never met my dad before but she says I get my height from him as well as my facial structure of the high cheek bones and such.

"Hey mom?" I asked.

"Yes dear?"

"Can I.. can I meet my Dad?"
