*1864 timeline*
stefan and damon had a plan.
"over here i seen one!" damon shouted to some men who were on a carriage.
they all climbed off and ran towards where damon pointed. meanwhile stefan worked on unbuckling the carriages where madelyn and kathrine where in.
as he pulled open the doors madelyn lay there helpless as ever "stefan" she groaned.
"i'm here baby" he smiled giving her hope.
damon had already helped kathrine because she was a lot stronger than her younger sister.
stefan pulled madelyn out of the carriage helping her on her feet.
"run my love," stefan said "while you still can."
"but what about you?" she asked "i can't leave you here!"
"don't worry abo-" there was a bang. then another.
stefan was shot, by his father!
"GET THEM!" giuseppe yelled.
madelyn was in tears. she wouldn't move.
"sister get up, we must go" kathrine said pulling at her sisters arm.
"no katrina, stefan he is dead!" she said through tears.
"that means he cannot be saved, quickly madelyn!" she begged seeing the men with their fire torches approaching.
with that madelyn turned it off. her humanity.
she couldn't leave knowing stefan had died because of her but emotionless that didn't matter.
"let's go now sister" kathrine said. madelyn and kathrine camp sped through the woods.
"wait!" madelyn said.
"what now?" kathrine was growing impatient.
madelyn ran back to the hunters and dug her teeth into each and everyone of those men.
"sorry," she said wiping her mouth with a handkerchief "snack for the road."
"whatever sister," she rolled her eyes "can we go now?"
madelyn nodded.
after hours of running kathrine had went to visit an old friend, rose.
madelyn went to the local market where she was greeted by none other than, elijah mikaelson.
"hello" he said very formally "madelyn pierce isn't it?" he knew exactly who she was.
"elijah!?" she was shocked and terrified "my brother has been looking for you lately, looks like he'll be delighted to see you."
"no" she said.
madelyn sped out of the area looking for kathrine again.
"katrina," she whispered "where are you when i need you."
"hello again" elijah said snapping the girls neck.
"looks like katrina will have to wait."
he laughed.
"good doing business" kathrine said.
" i'll see you soon katrina" elijah waved goodbye while placing madelyn in the back of his carriage.
