Eunji Pov

I quickly paced towards my apartment when someone caught my wrist. It felt like a strong and manly grip.

Without wasting time, I turned around to attack when the person caught my hand.

"Woah, Woah. Calm down, it's me."

Taehyung? My eyes got wide as I stared at the person in front of me.

"Taehyung, you?" I said in disbelief.

"Ah yes, I was here to give you your phone." He said. "I was behind you, but you were driving so fast, like someone was chasing you." He added.

"Actually, a black car was chasing me......" I said, rubbing my forehead.

"Hey! wait, that one." Tae said He said pointing towards a car behind him. It seems same??

"So it was you?" I looked at him in disbelief. "You scared me." I added.

"Yeah! Mianhae! here's your phone." He said taking out silver phone which was mine of course.

"Ah!! Ghamsahamnida! and sorry that you drove all the way just to return my phone." I said, feeling guilty. It's really far away.

"No problem." He said, while giving his special boxy smile. He turned around to go back when;

" Hey! Wait ! You are currently here, then come to my house for some moments please." I requested. He drove all the way here, and I can at least offer him a glass of water?

At first he protested, but soon gave up.We reached my my floor. I took out the key and was about to open the door when

My gate wasn't locked?

I remembered I had locked it before?

Shrugging, I opened the door.

No way!

What happened to my house?

I was shocked entering my house....

My entire house was destroyed......

My feet trembled over the site in front of me. There were vase and glass pieces everywhere. My furniture was broken. Everything was a mess. Not a single thing was in its right place. I moved forward to look inside; the same sight was infront of me. I entered my room, and it was destroyed too. I felt tears filling the bream of my eyes as I saw the pages of my project on which I had worked day and night.

My legs gave up as I was in the middle of the mess, sobbing hard while clutching the torn pieces of my designs.

I didn't feel for other thing but ........My Project.

This meant so much to me...

This could have changed my entire life. I had an answer to my parents that I can do something in my life.

But,

After seeing my hope crushing into pieces, I couldn't resist it.

Suddenly I heard some shuffling and a presence beside me. A hand rested on my shoulder as I turned, only to see Tae beside me. I don't know why, but I suddenly hugged him. To my amaze, He didn't protest and placed his hand on my back to comfort me.

I can't help as I was unable to stop myself from crying.

I don't look ,who it was. I just need someone's shoulder right now.

Taehyung POV

I was supposed to go home right now, but Eunji protested to come with her. I gave up after her few pleadings. Aish..Seriously Taehyung? You should have been on your way. I mentally slapped myself as I followed her.

As we reached her apartment, she opened the door. But the moment we entered;

My eyes got wide as saucers.

Her house was destroyed.

The sight of the surrounding was miserable. I glanced over here and there. Everything was a mess.

Looks like someone has intruded on her place.

But why?

I was in my own thoughts when I realized Eunji was nowhere to be seen. I moved further in mess to look for her.

I don't know what would be her state after looking all this.

A sobbing sound came from the room in the opposite direction. I looked inside only to see Eunji on floor sobbing.

What should I do? Should I go to her? Yes, do it Tae.

Contemplating, I made my way towards her. I quietly kneeled down beside her. The moment I placed my hand on her shoulder, she looked over at me with puffy eyes. Her eyes were glossy with the tears and I couldn't decipher a thing.

But before I could realize anything, she hugged me. I was taken aback by her such action. I can understand ,..she is not in a stable state.

I don't know why she was sobbing this hard ??

But maybe something very important to her was in the mess, too?

I just placed my other hand on her back to comfort her. Maybe this could help?

My shirt was soaking but I couldn't care less. Eunji is more important now.

As her sobbing got calm, "Are you alright now? " I asked, slightly pulling her away from my embrace so that I can face her.

She nodded in response, which was followed by utter silence moment after it. She was zoned out while I sat as it is beside her.

"I don't know what to do now." Her faint voice made me look at her." I don't know what have I done to get this." she added.

Surely, the place was a mess and seeing someone intruded her place that bad..

"Eunji, I don't think it is safe for you to stay here any long. C'mon let's go back to dorms." I said. I can only think of that now, it's the safest place and..Y/n is also there.

"But how can I ?" she asked.

"It's not the time for thinking this. Just get your essentials and we will leave." I said . She nodded faintly and got up.

Soon we were in my car, driving back to our dorm . While driving, I stole some glances of her. She was looking out the window, But I can see the reflection of her wet face.
