That was the sound of my alarm well that means it's time for me to wake up and prepare food for my family yes and no to me they're not my family anymore,how can I call them family with the way they threat me, I mean am their daughter too but guess what my parents threat me like an outcast to them I don't matter am nothing to them, they see a punching bag the minute they look at me, they see something to take their stress out on, even my siblings, I have two brothers and one sister her name is Naomi she's younger than me, my older brother Mason he's 23 not working then John 20 also not working and then the is me still in school doing my last year of high school doing business studies yes I know not a good choice hahaha joking that's what my parents always tell me every single day, the fact that am an A+ student doesn't mean shit to them all they see to me is a failure.

Hello let me introduce myself to you,my name is Elizabeth 17 years old,doing my twelfth grade in high school I have one friend Scarlett she's my best friend we've been friends since kinder grade I was five she was also five so we both 17 this year ever since then we just clicked until this day,she knows me just like I know her, her mother is a doctor, I love her to the moon and back, she knows about my situation,she tried to help me so many time's and I always tell her that I don't want to put her in trouble and she understand. She always make sure that I have money for a week to buy something to eat at school ever since I was seven years that was the year that my miserable life started.

I remember that day like it was yesterday I mean how can I forget the day that my own father said to me, how can you tell your own child that you wish they were dead before they were even born, "I wish you were dead before you were even born, you are just a disgrace to this family"those were my sperm donors words from him to me that day I went to school with tears I told Scarlett she was so angry she even cried with me after school that day I waited for my mother to come and pick me up at school but she didn't show up until Scarlett uncle saw me sleeping by the gate he worked me up and asked why I was there I told him that I'm waiting for my mother to come and pick me but she hasn't came yet, Scarlett uncle took me home the second I got inside I was insulted by my father "where the fuck have you been huh you've been f****n around? that night was the first time my father beated me.

So today I woke up earlier than usual I have to prepare something special for my younger sisters birthday today her friends will be here to celebrate her birthday, yesterday her parents went to town to buy her presents with the money that they borrowed from this restaurant guy I don't even know his name all I know is that they call him 'big guy' and the fact that I'll have to work there the whole day and half a night to pay the money that these bustards took from him. Here I am in the kitchen baking cake and biscuits for this stupid birthday all that left are the filling then I'll be on my way to work ta da work yeah right I so wish I can get a job and the fact that this week Friday it's graduation,I don't even want to attend it but am forced to I mean am an A+student so I have to be there to make stupid speech but I'm happy I won't be sweating thinking about what to write the principal will do all that for me ease right haha. OK I'm done it's time to go to work now,so I took a cold shower then wore my old Jean that have so many holes and my ripped T-shirt which is baby blue I wore my sneakers which are black when I was done I opened my door then climbed the stairs,well my room is a basement that have no window,no bed I sleep on the floor put old boxes some clothes then I would sleep. That basement is very cold more especially at winter and now that it's winter you can imagine how cold it is down there, opening the front door I got out I know they'll be up any minute now so I quickly opened the gate and I was gone straight to the restaurant I got there 30 min early my boss was just arriving "Miss Smith,how are you today?" That's my boss "Morning sir, I'm fine and you?" I answered him he's not a talkative person am just so surprised that he's even talking to me right know "am good, please come before you catch to much cold, I don't get it why you never wear any jacket in this cold" he said with concerned look and I just smiled and look down,he open the door then step aside to let me go first,once I got inside I blow air in my hand just to warm them a little bit then I started my work. Mr big guy does all the cooking himself the only thing that we do as workers is to make sure that the restaurant is clean customers are served on time and one more thing customers are always right  yeah I know right, I fix the tables and chairs then cleaned them when I was done I started the to clean the floors I was about to start with the windows when the other workers came "woah what time did you come today?" That was Alex he's gay but no one knows but me and he doesn't know that I know I saw him and big guy kissing yes like they were making out in big guy's car so yep. "30 min earl, and morning to you too" I answered with a smile on my face there's three of us when I'm here, he smiled and cleaned the other window I went to the back room to change to work uniform because we are about to open in 30 min from now so I have to clean myself and make sure that I look better on the outside than the inside, I tied my hair in a neat bun today then I went out and they were done with the windows and the door was already open, well the day started just like that.

The time now is twenty three hundred 23:00 we're closing "Elizabeth you're working this whole week" big guy said and my eyes were about to pop out I mean what does he mean by that "wha..what?" Damn why do I always feel scared to open my damn mouth "your parents they took $5000 this time so you'll have to work until Sunday" whaaat "but I have school and Friday it's my graduation day I can't miss it I'll be doing speech as the top student" I said back "after school you'll come here those are your fathers words not mine sorry deal is a deal" he said and walked away to his car leaving me standing there he started his car and drove away, I just can't believe this I mean how can he make such a deal without asking me first damn him my hate for that ass is growing day by day I hate them with everything in me, I just can't wait to go to college and get out of this place for good I just can't stand them anymore now.

The second day I went to school first thing that I did when I saw my friend I told Scarlett about everything she was so pissed but I told her that I'll be fine, Scarlett is the only person who can tell my parents to go to hell I remember this other day she found me on my kitchen floor after I didn't go to school that day, it was morning when they came to the kitchen and demanded food I was already done when the spoilt brat came and complained that her clothes are dirty that day I got the most painful beating ever I cried until I blacked out she came and woke me up the was blood all over she helped me clean then she cleaned my wounds she was so quiet we started to cook in no time we were done I thanked her she went home the second day she came just when my parents woke up "mhh just the two people I was looking for the devil and his wife " those were her words "Lizzy let's go and leave these losers here, let me tell you something Mr and Mrs Smith what you're doing to Elizabeth one day will put you in jail or one day you'll need her help and i guarantee you, you won't get thay help from her because of the hate you give and I wish you both can die a most slow and painful death" then she spite right in front of them then she went out that was the beginning of this year and that was the last time she ever came to my house she doesn't even pass or look that's how much she hates my parents and today it the day that I've been waiting for the day that I've been praying that it doesn't come but here it is and here I am in the restroom trying to calm myself down, went out right about time the ceremony was starting.
