The Muggle Prank

"Are you mental, Georgie?" said Fred looking at his twin with astonishment.

 "We can maybe see, what she has to say, mate"reasoned Lee, the twins' best friend.

 "Lee, you too? She didn't even promise us about the muggle pranks . For all we know, she could be bluffing and could be really dumb" said Fred with furrowed brows as the three of them sat in the Gryffindor common room by the fire. 

"She was a hatstall, mate. It took the sorting hat , seven minutes to decide where to put her. You don't really think she is dumb, do you, Freddie?"said George.

Fred opened his mouth to say something,but, couldn't. Silence fell over the three. After what felt like an hour, Fred finally said getting up from his spot, "I-I guess --aaaaa-- we can talk to her. The Hufflepuffs have Charms with us tomorrow , don't they?" he asked the other two yawning and stretching.

 George and Lee nodded.

 "I guess we can talk to her, after that! Now, c'mon you two." He said motioning towards the stairs as the other two rose up and the three of them disappeared into their dorms.

"Oh c'mon , Val!! Enough of this already. Will you just go talk to her? I am tired of your whining! Now, if you don't ask her out on a date until the next Hogsmeade trip, I might just go to her and spill out that you like her."said Y/N looking at Val angrily.

"Do you actually want me dead, Y/N? I thought you loved me."said Val with her eyes widened.

 Y/N rolled her eyes. After Black's entry into the Gryffindor dorms , school rules had been made stricter. It meant, the Prefects had now extra burden . Y/N was always tired these days. With class, OWLs coming up and now this extra duties had her drained. The last Hogsmeade trip was cancelled due to Black. But, the fifth years had practically begged to the Professors for a trip this weekend for a pleasant break from all the school work. It was a miracle how the Professors had said yes, with extra security of course. But, it would be nice to get out of the castle for a day and have a warm Butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks.

The six of them were sat at their usual spot by the Black lake. Alfea removed the headphones of her Walkman and placed it around her neck, when she saw Val and Y/N arguing about something.

"What happened now?" Y/N motioned to the group of Ravenclaw standing at a little distance from them.

 Alfea looked at them and nodded her head at her sister.

 "It's almost time, we should get going or Flitwick will give us detention."said Cedric motioning towards his watch and getting up. 

"And leave me behind with these two?" said Fiona with a raised eyebrow. "I am coming with you."

"And leave these two to themselves?" scoffed Alfea. 

"Oh! we won't really rip our heads off" cooed Marc , while Val nodded in agreement.

 "And you really think, we will believe you?" Y/N rolled her eyes.

"C'mon, get up you are going to the library with Fi" said Alfea motioning for her siblings to get up. They got up grunting and all of them started to walk.

As they were passing by the group of Ravenclaws, a girl with hazel eyes and dark brown hair approached them. Valerie's brows shot up to her bright blue hair and her eyes were a bright shade of red.

"Hey Fiona, thanks for the help with the Transfiguration homework, last night." she said smiling at Fiona.

"Oh! no problem. Don't mention it" said Fiona with a small smile.
