19th November 1988:

It's cold out here, way colder than I thought it would be. Making me wish I packed a few extra blankets but no matter.

As you're reading this I'm assuming you are interested in the legend of the Navajo skinwalker, if not I'll provide a brief summary now for you.
The skinwalker is a witch in Najavo culture who posses the ability to shapeshift into any creature they desire. They've been seen as Wolves, coyotes, deer but I imagine they would be able to mimic anything most likely.

I've pitched my tent around 100 metres into the canyon valley, it really is an extraordinary sight. It's a pity the locals are terrified because of the legend, I myself although I'm not a strong believer, because I'm researching it and it would be unprofessional to belive it in without proof, I am prepared incase I encounter anything hostile I brought my repeater and a hunting knife I purchased at a shop on the journey here.

I feel confident about this.
