Cali and I arrive,
and the party's
going strong.
Someone's set a
boom box
on a rock,
and the heavy thumps drown out
the peacefulness
of the place.
The peacefulness
that Jackson and I found
the first time we came here
together.
I want to focus
on that time,
not the other time, the last time,
but it's too hard
to keep the memories
from cascading
into my brain.
