There had been a fight. A verbal fight, thankfully. Ren and Jonas had both had wanted to escort Alex into finding Maggie Alder's keys to her boat. It lead into a fight. You could understand why it occurred in someway. Ren was Alex's child hood friend and Jonas was Alex's new stepbrother. They both wanted to spend time with Alex.
In the end the blue haired girl chose Ren, leaving you Nona, and Jonas in the com tower.
Now Jonas stood by the balcony, back to you. You could see smoke around him, implying he had a cigar.
You and Nona were within the small office in the com tower. You had agreed with Alex and Ren to meet up at Maggie Alder's house. It'd been 10 minutes since they left and you were feeling restless.
"Let's give him a moment to cool off," Nona had said, in a slightly exasperated tone. She blew some hair out of her face, "Tonight has been banana bread."
You giggled a little at her words.
"It's not funny," she said, but gave you a hint of a smile.
You leaned against one of the radio transmitters.
"Oh no," muttered Nona, and that caught your attention.
"What?" you asked.
"They left the radio." She came by your side and showed you the device. It was a small thing, that could fit in your pocket.
"We have to return it," you said.
Step. Step.
You felt shoes against metal. Jonas had appeared right by the door to the com tower office, standing ominously. There was a unsettling tension in the air. Your mouth dropped. His face was covered by shadows but you could see his eyes were ruby red and lit like road flares.
"Jonas?!" you said.
He approached slowly.
"That is not Jonas," said Nona, backing away.
"And you're not Alex," came the demonic voice.
"No we are not. What do you w-want?"
'Jonas' chuckled and it bounced off the walls.
"What do we want?"
He was much closer now.
"We want. The radio."
"Give us the radio," he demanded.
"No."
Before you knew it he was towering over. You tried to stand infront of Nona.
'Jonas' pushed you aside with ease. The being who possessed him played their cards well. Jonas was a big guy. If they had taken over you or Nona's body there was more of a chance Jonas and whoever could be able to fight back.
"St-stay away from me," said Nona.
He ignored her plea and continued to advance.
Oh no.
She backed away, eyes wide.
"There's no where to run."
You tried to get in between but he shoved you once again.
Nona stumbled and fell backwards out of the com tower window- just before he had her.
A static sound filled the air. The radio. Nona had accidentally tuned something on Ren's radio, causing the air to fill with electric noises. Jonas eyes glowed brighter, his expression turning emotionless. A floating triangle began to appear.
"What the..." whispered your beanie wearing crush.
'Jonas' hit his forehead to get out the state. The floating triangle was still there. He went around inhumanely fast out of the office and after Nona.
"You won't get rid of me that easily, dear."
You rushed and charged at his legs, causing him to crash into the outer balcony.
In the meantime Nona fumbled with the dials. Jonas was regaining his balance. You tried to slow him down but since he was twice your size it didn't have much affect.
Another triangle appeared.
Jonas went back into his state of no emotion. He started to shake.
Third triangle.
He began to float. There was an earsplitting static and then the triangles created one big triangle with a red eye.
"What the hell," muttered Nona.
"You. Will. Not. Succeed." Spoke the triangle and fluctuated in different tones. And voices.
What was this?
Your eyes widened.
"We will," you said.
"There. Are. No. Outs. In. Free."
There was a crackle of light and the eye was gone, leaving a starry triangle.
Jonas crumpled to the ground. What was that?
You were shaking with fear. Nona put her arms around you, radio transmitter in one hand. Her being so close, and comforting you was enough to make you close your eyes.
"Nona," you whispered.
She put her face into your neck.
You both stayed together like that for a while.
