Adriel Heredia

I asked for a report to immediately send to me.

I was about to pull the gear lever when I saw a very familiar woman.

That's Airene Montes. I'm sure of it.

She was walking and my car is behind her so I drive in her direction.

"Hey." I said.

She asked then pointed to the site where I came.

I nodded. "Why are you here?"

"Dito ako nakatira." Sagot niya.

Tumango tango ako. "Saan ka pupunta?" I asked.

"Mag hahanap ng trabaho." She answered.

"Why don't you go with me? Hanggang labasan lang or gusto mo ihatid kita sa gusto mong bababaan." I suggested.

Her eyebrow arched. "Talaga? Akala ko kasi hindi mo ako tutulungan." I get what she said.

This is about me being rude to her at my office.

"Look, Miss, it's about my dad and as long as I can maintain not hearing anything about him, I'll do it." I said.

She nodded then to my surprise, sumakay siya sa passenger's seat na tabi ko.

"What work are you looking for?" I asked.

Then she shrugged.

I bit my lower lip. "Hmmm..." I tried thinking deeper to make my decision good.

"How am I supposed to recommend you if I don't know you at all?"

She pouted.

Bulyaw niya.

"So kasalanan ko pa?" I sarcastically asked.

She nodded. "Oo. Ang rude mo kaya."

"Well, I'm sorry." I said while driving.

She shrugged before looking at the window. I stared at her for seconds then realized I shouldn't.

I shook my head. Why would I make her a cleaner of the precinct?

"I have an offer." I said.

She seemed excited suddenly.

"But I'll tell you later. Sa presinto na tayo didiretso. Dun ka na muna." I said.

In my peripheral, she nodded and excitedly looked at the window.

I just shook my head and continued driving till we reached the precinct.

"Anong work inooffer mo?" Tanong niya.

I was flipping pages when she asked so I put down the folder and looked at her, making her still.
