Kirigiri's POV:
I woke up, for a moment I didn't do anything but then I remembered.
"Celeste!?" I quickly got up to check if she was... ok.
And thank atua she was ok. She looked tired, and was breathing like she was meditating or some shit,
"Well.. I didn't sleep." she said, her face looked as if she regretted her life decisions.
I sighed in relief laying back down. She must be really scared... maybe I should comfort her. How the hell do I do that. I stopped my brain from over thinking and awkwardly hugged her. Thankfully to break the awkward tension both of our phones started to go crazy,
Makato: is celestia ok???
Celestia: yeah
Aoi: woohooo!
Yasuhiro: she a ghost!!!!
Leon: *illuminate noises*
Junko: ewww omg someone come pick up mukuro and her gf they fell asleep in my dorm
Toko: Deal with your own problems
Kyoko: Why were they in your dorm in the first place?
Junko: we were playing monopoly
Kyoko: Oh, I see.
Me and Celeste both closed our phones as soon as Toko started typing.
"Why do you type so formally?" she asked me confused
"I don't know."
She just nodded her head looking at me. Next thing I knew, nurses came in,
"Ok, Ms. Ludenberg. It seems you lived longer then expected."
I gave her a high five,
"How are you feeling?" they asked her
"T i r e d" she said blankly, the nurse gave her a confused and disappointed look
"Uh... Is that it"
"No.. I'm cold, I think I have a fever, and my throat hurts" She said not joking this time
Why didn't she tell me she was not feeling good. I gave her a concerned glance, she saw me but continued her conversation with the nurse. The nurse walked over to her, I think they're giving her a check up or something, I usually have to leave when they do that but now I'm just her watching like an idiot.
First she checked her temp. and it was 104°F, so she clearly has a high ass fever. The nurse just looked at the thermometer and made a little 'mhm' sound. She did a ton of other check ups for the next 10 minutes and finally left.
"Why didn't you tell me you weren't feeling good. I mean I know you are sick but you've been acting like you feel ok." I asked very concerned
"I didn't know you got jealous easily," She said avoiding the question
"Huh?"
"You seemed pretty jealous of the nurse, love." She was smirking like an idiot
"I was not." I looked away trying not to have a reaction
She laughed at me :(
She cleared her throat. Me being stupid, immediately checked her mouth. And to no surprise their was blood.
"Have you been secretly coughing when I'm not around?" I asked a bit angry
"No.." She said blushing, I took my hand off her face "I'm not lying, I haven't coughed at all for like the last couple days."
"Ok, I believe you. Better not be lying to me."
She looked at me, I didn't know what to do so I looked at her back.
"Um.. I'm really tired so like, I'm gonna sleep. And I might be sorta kinda scared so, just make sure I'm ok while I sleep.. please." She nervously said
"Ok, nothing will happen you'll be fine." I smiled at her
Her response was hugging me and eventually falling asleep, I kept one hand on her wrist the whole time just incase her... pulse, yeah. I wasn't tired since it wasn't nighttime yet. So I sat on my phone annoying the shit out of komaru about her crush on toko, because I do that
Toko: Master...
Kyoko: Komaru, she's talking to you.
Komaru: NO
Toko: NO
Mukuro: mmmmm
Mukuro: gay
Byakuyu: Well, I hope she wasn't talking to me
Toko: ok
Ishimaru: Kyoko, is it possible if we can see Celestia today!?
Kyoko: Sure I guess. She's asleep right now.
Chihiro: thats ok we can see her when shes awake
Kyoko: I'll tell you when she wakes up :)
I put my phone down and cuddled with Celeste. Her heart started beating fast, I immediately woke her up
"Celeste? Wake up, are you ok?" I asked
"Yeah." She said blushing...oh..OH
"You need sleep. And before you say 'i WAs jUSt sLeEPinG', no you weren't. I'm a detective"
She let out a sigh. My heart also started going fast when I realized she still gets embarrassed when I cuddle her. She turned her back towards me.
"I'm actually going to sleep now.. Please, keep your hand on my wrist.." she said shy
I put my hand on her wrist and hugged her again, her heart started beating fast for a little then when back to normal pace. she's so adorablejgsajdadhjdhy,
I didn't fall asleep, but she did, which is good she needs sleep
