Days had passed and things we're just normal and nothing crazy at all.

Right now I'm just reading something from the paperwork I've left when i got into an accident like a week ago. I was busy reading everything on the page when my phone rang and saw Dad was calling me so picked it up and answer.

“Yes Dad?”

‘Be prepared this evening, we're going to your aunt and uncle's wedding anniversary.’

“Do i really need to go with you? I'm really busy right now and i just can send someone to give them both a gift-”

‘Azreal will come there at 8 with the things i prepared for you to wear and he'll drive you at 9 to your aunt's mansion and I'll be waiting there for you.’

“But-”

‘Bye Honey, See you at 9. I'll better get going, i still have something else to be done here before we go.’ and dad ended the call.

I can't do anything just to go later at my aunt and uncle's wedding anniversary, but i should go I'm bored staying here at my house for days just doing work and luckily I'm already feeling fine and everything already heals quickly than i thought.

I look up at the clock and it's still 11 in the morning so i planned to go shop a gift for my aunt and uncle for later but i need someone.

I pull my phone and dialed Laliana, My cousin who is the daughter of my aunt and uncle who is having a celebration later.

‘hey annica!’

As cheerful as always.

“hi liana, did you already brought something for your parents?”

‘i still haven't, I'm already about to go inside my care to drove at the mall when you called cause I'm planning to buy a gift for them. Why?’

“Nice, Pick me up here at my house near at the Private beach resort Nicholas's Owns.”

‘Yeah sure, I'll be there in 5 minutes.’ and then i hang up.

I just wore my casual outfit and pair it with some ankle black leather boots and just brought my Card and phone when i received a text from laliana that she already arrived and waiting outside.

I look at myself at the mirror once more and walk outside and locking the door just to be safe even thought this place is safe and secured.

When i step outside, i saw Laliana's New Car.

Of course she'll buy a new one cause this is probably a new out or...

“I just bought this like 3 minutes ago, i just saw it on a poster and it say's coming out soon but just a little move from me, i get what i want.” she proudly says.

“ofcourse you're going to flirt with the 'BOSS' and wait for them to hand you the key after paying it.” and i rolled my eyes but she just giggles.

“whatever, Let's go to the Brand New Mall just opened like a week ago.” she suggested and drove fast than the author writing this.

After just like 15 minutes we're already at our destination.

“are you sure we're shopping here?” i asked laliana.

“uhm, i think not.” she answered while looking at the crowd pushing each other just to enter the main entrance of the mall.

“how about I'll drive you to where i shop whenever I'm on a rest from work.”

We switch places and i drove the car smoothly fast than her driving this car a few minutes ago.

We arrive at Costo where i always shop some things for me and gifts. This place is just for celebs and rich people to be able to shop freely and far away from the news, this was not open for public and only with Glass Cards can come here.

When i parked the car, i look at my cousin looking everywhere shocked.

“what is this place?” laliana asks.

I was about to tell her when a women in my age was walking towards our direction and answering Laliana's question.

“Welcome ladies to Costco, Where everyone is to be freely enjoying everything here far away from the social media and other people.” And then she smiles to laliana and look ay me. “hi my dear friend, i miss you.” and she hugged me and i also hugged her back.

“miss you too Veronica.”

“oh my god! You're Veronica Hormones!” my cousin was about to pass out when i pinch her so she came back. “wait, are you-”

“we're closed friends from high school laliana” and then i rolled my eyes.

“why didn't you tell me? I'm really a big fan of yours Ms. Hormones!”

“you never tell me that.”

“i better leave you two together, i still have something else to do” and then she hugged me again “let's talk later when we have time or maybe go out with the others soon and for you-” she looked at my cousin “- here's a signatured photo of me for you, and thank you for supporting me” and she walked to her van with her one bodyguard following her and they drove away.

After that i pulled laliana towards the entrance of costco.

“The Clock is Ticking Laliana, You'll meet her again soon enough.”

It looks like I'm babysitting Laliana.

Is this how Azreal feel when his with me? Feeling frustrated and—ohh fuck, why do i think of him?! And also Annica he's your Bodyguard and not your babysitter!

‘annica you're too old to have a babysitter.’ i told myself.

“and also too old to have a bodyguard” i murmured to myself.

“what?” laliana confusedly asked me what I've been murmuring about.

I smiled forcedly at her. “I say, Shopping yeah! That's right! We need to find a perfect gift for your parents!” and fake a laugh.

“Ohh-” She seems like she's not into my lie but she smiles “Uhm i think i need a new dress and accessories” and just start walking into a boutique.

Wait—i thought we're going to buy a present for her parents.

“Laliana!”
