CHAPTER FOUR

AGAD akong napangisi ng makita ko syang nakasimangot kanina habang nag lalakad palabas Para puntahan yung bike na sinasabi ko.

"Your so mean, Annica" rinig kung Sabi ng kung sino sa Likod ko at ng tignan ko ito ay nakita ko agad mukha ni betsie.

She's one of my close friends sa circle of friends namin. She's so kind and generous, she usually always on USA and we just use the sky chat if we want to talk.

Agad akong tumayo and gave her a warm tight hug and she hugged me back.

"I miss you Betsie" I said in a sweet voice.

"I miss you too, hopefully I'm back so we can have some free time and you know what I mean" and then we laughed to each other.

Agad akong naka rinig ng yabag kaya napatingin kami don, and we saw Pie and Kristine walking to us.

"Hey Sie! Welcome back!" Masayang sigaw ni Kristine as she run to hug betsie.

"Hi Kristine, Pie" nakangiting Sabi nya and I saw pie just smile a lil bit.

"We'll just buy some beefs and some wines, the girls wants to celebrate something here so, catch you up later betsie" Sabi ni Kristine at agad naman silang naglakad paalis.

I offered Betsie to have a sit with me and we talk.

"So how are you feeling right now?" I asked.

I know the reason why she stayed for a while at the states and I'm shock that she's here.

"I'm completely fine Annica, but I'm just a little bit nervous" she answered nervously.

"Trust me, everything will be alright" i said, trying to calm her and it did work.

We talked about how is the life on states and on different countries and how friendly the peoples there until she changed the topic.

"…so about earlier, who was that man? Is he your boyfriend?" Her eyes is sparkling? Is that it? Ohh goddamn.

"Huh?"  Did she just say—  "of course not!" Bigla kung sigaw na ikinangisi nya.

"Hmm… okay" she said, unconvinced.

"H-he is just my bodyguard and no more" I awkwardly smile.

I'm not really used betsie teasing me for no reason.

She crossed her arms ang look at me. "I do know that your old bike is so precious to you when you're at high school, Annica, di mo nga pinapayagan si Lauren makasakay nun eh, and that's bike is your favorite, you wouldn't let anyone touch it, and about to what I saw earlier, you were laughing at something and I even heard you saying some things about the man."

O-okay. I did not see that coming.

"HA HA ohh god Betsie, I think you just need to rest" I awkwardly said and smile and I pulled hef upstairs and let her lay at the bed.

"But—"

"No buts Betsie, you really need to rest for tonight's celebration" I said, convincing her to sleep.

"I think you're right, I need more energy for tonight" she said and sleep rightfully.

I walk downstairs when she really fall asleep and silently sat back at my position earlier.

I was so busy earlier because there is a little problem at the agencies but it turns out good, I already fixed the problem, that's why I'm typing at my laptop something and now I'm just checking my secretary if everything is all fine.

As I sit at the stool, I was thinking deeply that I didn't even heard someone came in. I look around and saw Vivienne drinking her drink and Ayn was on phone and Dev was also drinking her smoothie and Syx was busy typing with a grumpy face. Wow.

"Good eve Annica!" Bati nilang lahat at umupo na sa sofa at nanuod nalang ng Netflix so I joined them.

Were not really that close but were all friends.

"Why so early?" I asked when I sat on the single sofa.

"I'm just bored that's why I planned to come here so early" sagot ni Vivienne.

"I have a game tournament battle with my friend but he didn't come to my place so I came here with dev" sagot naman ni Ayn.

"I was supposed to take a rest for the Book Auction for tomorrow but I was dragged by Ayn" sagot naman iyon ni dev.

"I was supposed to be with my boyfriend, no, 'EX-Boyfriend' but when I got to his place, I saw him with his ugly EX kissing, yuck!" nanggigigil na sagot ni Syx.

"Ohh, okay. Have fun, if you need me I'll be just at the kitchen" Sabi ko sakanila at tumanggo naman sila.

I walk to the kitchen and planned to bake but i failed.

I remember that I'm a terrible baking. Hays.

WHEN I finished cleaning my mess, I just sat down at the stool and think.

I was really guilty by giving him my bike, pero wala na syang choice kundi tanggapin yun, that's the only thing left kasi di nya naman pwedi hiramin yung Motor Bike ni Pie kasi Alam kung may lakad pa sila ni Kristine and also the car key is with Lauren, so he don't have any other choice.
