CHAPTER 21

JENNIE'S POV

I went out of the car when I saw two cars and a Van blocking the way.

I wasn't surprised anymore when I saw Kai went out of the black Jaguar. I sighed and held my forehead.

"Finally my Fiancee!! You showed up!"

"Kai, why are you being like this?"

"And why are you being like this too?!" he stepped closer to me.

I closed the Car's door and lean on it.

"You've been cheating--''

"Where did you get that idea?" I asked annoyed. "I am never yours, we have no relationships! We are nothing!''

"We are getting married! I am in my damn office waiting for your decision about our marriage and here you are having fun of the time of your life?! With that Lalisa Manoban?!"

He held my shoulders and pinned me more on the car and shook me harshly. I closed my eyes tightly and pressed my lips together.

"Wake up Jennie!"

"Let me go!" I shouted and pushed him.

He dragged me to the van and pushed me inside. I cried inside and slapped him when he entered.

"Where is she?!" I slapped him again. This time his hand gripped my wrist and look at my fingers.

"Where is your ring?"

I look at my ring finger also, it's not there, I remembered that night I pulled it out of my finger and put it in the table beside Lisa's bed.

"You really pissed me Jennie.''

He slapped me so hard I can't hear anything. Until my eyes gets blurry then all went black.

FAST FORWARD

I woke up inside my room in the mansion where I grew up.

I sighed and cried again. My head hurts, if I only knew that, that call was a trick, I will never get out of Lisa's home.

"Jennie.''

"Why are you here?" I asked while crying hard.

I'm sitting on the floor while I am leaning on the edge of the bed, my eyes are already swollen because of crying too much.

"You have to eat, you look hungry."

"I don't want to eat, I want to get out of this hell!"

"What is fucking wrong with you Jennie?! This is your home, what your dad and I wants is for you to marry Kai, when you marry Kai, you can go to every places you want while carrying his surname!"

I stood up to face her. "I told you, I don't want to marry him! Just let me out, let me go!"

"Jennie we are doing this for you, marry him. You will marry him as soon as possible! First thing tomorrow, you will marry Kai!"

"No!"

"Jennie, this is for your safety!"

"Safety?! What kind of safety?! From who? Am I going to die if I get out of the mansion without Kai's name—"

"Yes!" She shouted. Her tears rolled down her cheeks but her face and eyes are cold as ice, and her face is very angry like she's going to kill me if I ever made a wrong move.

"This is for your safety, we are saving you from the person who's hunting you for thirteen years! If he ever found you, he will kill you! That's why I need you to marry someone for your name to change! Since people doesn't know you! Then your problem about setting you free will finally be granted!"
