Once upon an unforseen time
I knew I had to make you mine
Just the way you move and speak
Makes every part of me go weak
Everything was picture perfect
I never doubted or suspect
Amazing and pretty for me
Never thought us two would be "we"
Feels like I'm on top the world
No one would grasp me like you would
Everything you say makes me smile
To escape my world for a while
You know me like we'd met for years
Didn't know it would end in tears
Conversations filled with sweetness
How could I take in such goodness
You make me feel just so surreal
Didn't expect this was unreal
You left me at the brink of end
Can't understand why you would send
A man who's fragile heart still torn
By life's struggles since he was born
He's left with neither to believe
Weeping slowly at morning's eve
